Is there any interviews/news articles/media hinting or stating that Microsoft will make a new Xbox product? Or have they already decided to end making gaming consoles at the Xbox 360?

They don’t really need to. All it really needs is better guts and a design that doesn’t cook itself during use, and they can just make more money selling those a separate accessories.

I think they will make a new xbox, because that’s just how companies work. They’re not just going to live off of the 360 until the end of time. They will atleast make a new xbox to fit the format of some new type of TV. If not, they’ll make it just to get more money…those greedy bastards.
Of course they’ll make a new Xbox. They’ll need a new platform to force people to buy it in order to play Halo 4.
In all seriousness though, they’ll definitely make a new Xbox. There’s no way they can just rest on their laurels with the 360, and technology will always be advancing, so eventually they’ll have to release a new one to avoid technological obsolete…ness, and a loss of market share if their competitors release a new one.
I heard a rumour of a new version of the Wii with super-mega-advanced hardware coming out some time in the future, but the article was very unclear as to when exactly that might be. If that happens, I’m sure we’ll see a new Xbox (and PS) competitor to, well, compete with them.
However, a big thing that Microsoft (and Sony) are going to have to overcome is the price of the hardware. Not specifically for consumers, but for themselves; at present, both Microsoft and Sony make a loss per unit of hardware they sell, but turn a profit on the games. If they ever want to release a new console and actually want to make considerable amounts of money out of it, they need to do a Nintendo and work out a way of turning a profit on the damn thing.

I don’t see a new Xbox or PS for a few years now, something like 2013/14. With NATAL coming out for 360 and Sony harping on about the PS3 having an 8-10 year life span I reckon it’ll be a while now.
I forgot about NATAL. Hope it doesn’t suck. Or cost too much.

The Xbox was originally planned to be replaced this year, but they reckon that Natal has pushed the life back to 2012. The companies realised that money isn’t in better graphics but in motion controlling, like the Wii. Which is a shame, because the Wii is balls
The real question is, when will the PC2 come out? 
Duke Nukem Forever will be the first game for the PC2 since the PC1 would be too weak to handle it.

I know they lost money on me seeing how they gave me a new console because they couldn’t figure out how to fix the [COLOR=‘Red’]E65 ERROR.
According to the internets, E65 errors happen when you make hardware modifications to your system. I bought mine new, and never opened it up. I wouldn’t have the balls to open it up because I’m absolutely petrified that the console will fail on me. Guess what, it did!
Ah, I love my Wii. I’ve made hardware and software modifications to where the console is black, and I have the Homebrew Channel successfully running with emulators for the Atari 2600, NES, SNES, GEN, GBA, N64, and DOS. I also have running ports of the full versions of Wolfenstein 3D, Doom I & II, Quake, and Mahjong. I did all this, knowing full well, that Nintendo’s systems last, no matter what you put it through. Only 9% of Wiis purchased have had hardware failures. Microsoft has had nearly 90% in console failure rates. I believe that to be a problem. Hee.
To be honest, I am completely satisfied with my Wii, and none of you “Mature Only Hardcore Elitists” can convince me otherwise.
