what’s the point of this thread? nobody knows how its going to work except Gabe Newell, so until he decides to let us all in on the secret, this thread is just troll-bait for Aspies that irrationally hate macs.
Doubt they’ll release the SDK right away when steam is ported to OSX, and I doubt even more that recompiling the mod under OSX will be worth the effort.
It’s just for discussion on what people think will happen.
I’m thinking they will set it up so they will only have to modify the engine, not the games themselves. But I have no idea if that’d be possible.

I haven’t checked into Source-mods at all, but if it’s anything like how mods were ran in HL1, then I see no issues with having BM run on Source for Mac.
Mods run on the Source engine provided by a Source game. So they’re just extensions on an original game. if the original runs fine, why wouldn’t a mod?
(But ye, I have no idea how source mods work, so I might be completely wrong here)
