Who's waiting for the Steam version?

I’m not waiting for Steam version. I’m waiting for my crappy connection. I’ve been downloading the game for 10 hours more or less, it’s on 95%. Only 30 minutes left. Now I’m listening to “Final countdown” and preparing myself to pla.

Same here. I’d like to see some of the issues players are having be fixed.

uhh…there are no issues

At first I wanted to wait for the Steam version, but then I realised I might as well start playing this, then swap over to the Steam version when that came out. Especially since even the non-Steam version is still in Steam

Actually, I tried downloading from ModDB, and that didn’t work, so now I’m using Desura, which should, hopefully, give me better results.

I’ll definitely switch to the Steam version when it’s released, but there’s no reason I can’t play it as it is until then.

it gets added to your steam library after you install it, or at least it did for.

I installed the mod and it already appears in Steam. Will I get my achievements ported over when it comes out for Steam?

probably yes, but if not i’ll be happy to play it again :stuck_out_tongue:

That has exactly WHAT to do with trusting a single seeder?

What?

You said you don’t trust him although he is only one seeder of many. And even without him I got incredible download speeds.

THen I actually restarted my PC during download and as with the nature of torrents it resumed.

Sorry, it just sounded like some sort of scam. I really don’t understand torrents. :zip:

When is it getting on steam? months? weeks?

By god… There are lots and lots of posts about issues.

BUMP - any estimates at all?

I’m waiting too. Then we’ll get fixes from the devs when the Steam version comes out. I’m kind of hoping for some sort of DX8 support so I don’t have black texture errors on some surfaces or outright freezes like at the Rocket area of On a Rail. Only when I have it set to DX9 do I have those problems.

DX8 on it’s own is fine, but I don’t want purple/black texture errors on the eyes of the NPC’s.

I cant download any of the links they provided so might as well wait for steam

Desura works pretty well, I’d highly recommend trying that.
