I think that time travel has something to do with hl… but it’s more related to portal tecnology. i think that borealis dissapeared with “slow portal” and appeared not long ago before freeman woke up or after that. anyway this explayins why they couldn’t find it before

Valve has used time travel a lot, just not backwards time travel (probably since it’s not even remotely scientific). Foward time travel is very plausible, however, and it’s been used a lot. (by the g-man, the slow teleport from the combine HQ, etc).

I’d imagine that it will continue to be used by Valve as well.

That was said 3 times already. the “slow teleport” but it’s as much traveling through time as it is that you are constantly moving forward in time, look, I’m going to chronoport to a split second in the future.

Well, one thing that might lend a bit of credence to the time travel idea is something the G-man said (and didn’t say) at the end of HL2:
