You’re not doing what I think you’re doing, are you?
rofl
you could just export the .bsp file from portal 2 and import the room into your model maker
It depends what I think you think I’m doing.
I know but I prefer working to my own scale and methods. Making it myself gives me complete freedom.
Gentlemen;
Coming soon: PotaDOS.
Harry.
Funny, I referred to her as SpuDOS!
It’s called PotatOS.
I’d like a high-poly model of the PotatoGLaDOS.
This would be win Awesome work bud.
Haha, thanks guys; PotatOS is in the works.
Now that I’ve had a good look at Wheatley in-game, I can see a lot of room for improvement with my own model! For example, I just made one quick but crucial improvement:
OLD EYE
…and now it’s more like the one in-game:
Now for the body texture; it’s currently too metallic and rusted.
Thanks,
Harry.
Now that I’ve played the game and know who the fuck Wheatley is, this thread is awesome
it looks too dark blue to me
Dude, you should totally make Portal 2: High-poly edition. Maybe 50 years later, We will be able to play it.
That’s how he looks to me in-game (and in the screenshots I took) - maybe it’s just my monitor.
Haha!
SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!
That is all.
Harry.
The models look nice and all but why are you making them anyway? Apart from the fact that you can, that is. It would be cool if you could make something new instead of remaking valve models.
Just for fun and for a portfolio.
I’ve made a few ‘original’ models, but I’ve never really had a project that required them. Here’s a couple of my older models:
A quick wallpaper I made for a friend:
Harry.
I’d love to see your take on the Robo Grunt from the HLDM. The single red eye reminded me of the turrets & bots from Portal, so I was wondering if you could re-design it as an ‘Aperture Science Military Android’. If I’ve asked you this before & forgot, I’m sorry.
(If you could fit it to the hl2 player model skeleton- :jizz
Nice Sherman.
I just found my new wallpaper.
