What's your ideal spouse.

In response to this I believe a thread is due. Why because I am bored.

My ideal spouse would be a musically talented (must play an instrument not just sing), tan-skinned, dark-haired, freckled, bitchy woman.

Female:
between 6’ and 7’ tall, extremely bony face and hips, interesting teeth that don’t taste like shit. Someone who could take me in a fight.

Male:

i’d hate to go through various qualities, describing someone in particular, only to find there are a few thousand more people that fit those traits… so instead, the quality would be being her. such is the musing of an ensnared heart.

[COLOR=‘Black’]Also, since when has there been an owl on the fuck’n chimney?! Actually, it sounds like two owls…

considerate, faithful, respectful, likes good video games, enjoys cuddling, isn’t afraid to actually tell me how they feel, at least ok at sex, not horrendous looking but when it comes to someone i’m going to be married to i care about how they treat me more than what they look like.

bscly the man i am with now

o also they cant be weird about being touched a lot and i dont mean just sexually i am an extremely physical person and i require physical affection

Welp that summed me up shortly.

Ideal? Ginger hair, slightly messy. Some freckles, kind green eyes, long pointed nose(that doesn’t tilt up), and not a pronounced jaw. Rather skinny, but not athletic.

She’s lighthearted, somewhat silly and a little clingy. Not interested in lots of cash, and not bothered about looking her best at home or out on “just us” outings. She’s cuddly(with me) but is pretty well a loner otherwise(like me). Likes games, walks, camping and christmas. Tends to be emotional, but isn’t irrational or difficult to be around. Tends to procrastinate.

oh god what am I doing on this forum, where have the good debates over gameplay-mechanics gone, now we’re talking about jawlines, pretty noses, and other petty traits that people think add to true beauty, something which is so much more delicate than hair-color or complexion

If this is depressing to you then I can only wonder what an episode of Jersey Shore would do to you.

Edit that post some more, my refresh button isn’t broken yet. :hmph:

The obviousness of inner beauty > physical is so painfull I could not be bothered writing a disclamer for my post for fear of getting artheritis.

But still, the fact of the matter is, my wife is going to be pretty. Pardon me for not marrying someone I don’t like to look at. There are a myriad of different physical traits that I find beautiful, but I figure if I am going for ideals here, I might aswell be specific.

Seriously. She’s the perfect woman for me. I love everything about her.

Play bass.

Done.

Electric guitar would do as well.

and if she was a drummer ?

A nice and cuddly woman, somewhere in the middle of the Vicky Mendoza diagonal.

A transexual with a big floppy penis, big tits, voice of an angel, a penchant for zoophelia, sharpened vampire teeth, and an opposable tail.

Seriously is this a thread people are responding legitimately to? :stuck_out_tongue:
Think of all the strange possibilities for weird and funny mates!

brain with tits and ass

optionally a nice face

I almost found her on a dating site once. The only things wrong with her were she smoked and she didn’t want to reply to my email :frowning:

Call me demanding, but I would like to have conversations with my spouse.

Actually, I was saying we’re all incapable of describing true physical beauty; it’s not the direction her nose points that makes a woman beautiful, nor the redness and length of her hair, but the way her face seems to exist in joyous harmony… It’s the things statue-makers of antiquity sought to reproduce. Beauty is the collusion of features, not an assortment of specific traits, and if you would overlook true beauty because it is too pale or too tan, then I am compelled to apologize for the condition your condition is in.

It is also depressing to see insufficient character traits described, but I thought at least people could describe form with more poeticism, with the level of abstraction something so inspiring deserves, instead of reducing themselves to collage-makers clipping bits from fashion-magazine portraits.

I think a large part of the problem you are seeing is that no one is taught how or allowed to express themselves anymore. When you grow up in the public school system you are told what to think, what to believe, what to say. The only thing you are freely left to express without critisism is what you “like”; ie colours, textures, etc. To express differences in more or deeper details and meanings that go to or come from the heart is to open oneself up to critisism of your innermost being and to have one’s character (often publically) shredded for not being in accordance with those who taught you or disagreeing with other’s idea of the norm in some way. It is for this reason that most people when confronted with a question like “what is your ideal…?” either won’t answer fully or can’t answer fully because of the invisible prison that our society puts on peoples thinking.

Now, for my ideal: A big hunk of sandy blonde haired man flesh that worships the ground I walk on.
