Turns out I already met her, had my shot at her, and apparently somehow (?) messed it up, because she broke things off for no reason that I could see. I recently started reading Hyperbole and a Half, and it’s got me pining for her something mad, because this woman was almost exactly like Allie Brosh (who writes Hyperbole and a Half).

Just the right amount of geekiness, with a ton of self-confidence, a love of good and classic games, sci-fi and fantasy (movies, games, and books). Does not smoke, and will not ever even consider saying “not tonight dear, I have a headache” (unless she actually does). Programming ability would be nice too.

Preferably red hair (either dark red, or orange with some blond mixed in) and green eyes, but I’m more than capable of finding just about any physical quality attractive on a woman.

I’ve known a perfect spouse for years. But it will never happen and I’ve moved on from ever thinking that it will.

Just thinking about romance in general makes me feel bitter, because honestly no matter what I try it never seems to work out for me.

I may as well also divulge too much information for the internet.

Short. Somewhere in the range of 4 foot 11 and 5 foot 2.
Natural red or black hair. Red preferred. Close to the color of Amy in the current series of Doctor Who.
Blue or green eyes. Neither preferred, but if blue, vibrant.
Naturally pale, with fairly consistent skin tone. (few freckles etc)
Narrow facial bone structure.
Funny. Must think at least a few of the dumb things I say are actually humorous.
At least somewhat intelligent.
She needs to like video games. With at least some overlapping in favored genres.

I think that covers the essentials. I know, when the time comes, I’ll be lucky to even hit the mental aspects. But we’re talking best case scenario, right? :stuck_out_tongue:
