BS. I’ve probably played TF2 less than anyone in this thread, and I’ve owned it since 08’, and I have no trouble killing the faggots who have spent hours in the thousands playing the game. The least you need to be good is a few unlocks, but all the unlocks you really need can be achieved in less than 8 hours playing time. (Not like you got to do that in one sitting, either.)
Deus Ex? Oh you, it’s a wonderful game. It’s a masterpiece. Just because it isn’t playable for you(who are you by the way?) doesn’t necessary mean it’s overrated. This is just your opinion.
As for me, Cod MW2 and BO is the most advertised and overrated. In our time, games score pending on amount of motion capture and polygons per model coefficient. How sad.
Lol, you’re still on that. I thought it’d be obvious that “Deus Ex” and “sucks” can’t fit into the same sentence unless it has “does not in between”. I <3 Deus Ex although I don’t agree with some of the music because they sound like Unreal mixed with Final Fantasy music. It’s combination of stealthy tactical espionage, rpg, and combat is genius. I played maybe 10 rounds of TF2, less than 2 hours. I enjoy many multiplayer games but nothing compares to winning a gungame match in CSS, when you’re on the final level and you have to stab someone, pure adrenaline rush.
Today for example, my day was going like pure shit, almost depressive, but after I dominated at gg I was ready to tackle any IRL obstacle so I could pwn another day. :freeman:

I agree though, Deus Ex does not suck, but its not drop-dead amazing either. Cant quite think of any over-rated games, I generally only buy games I know I’ll enjoy :3 Saves money wasteage.

I’m the only person who doesn’t hate CoD. I mean granted they’re far from my favorite games but I do enjoy playing them on occasion.
If I had to pick my least favorite game it would be Metroid: Other M, I had tons of fun in the old side scrolling ones and I also enjoyed the 3D Prime ones but this game was just awful.
You’re simplifying things. Read what people have to say. People aren’t just going “lolol COD sucks” they’re giving reasons to why it sucks.
For me it is a tie between Far Cry and Red Faction, and Soldier of Fortune 2. I couldn’t stand any of those games. They all pissed me off beyond belief at multiple points.

None of them were really that great, but they weren’t exactly critically acclaimed either. They were good for a couple minutes of mindless fun and that’s really it.

Not really. Gears of War got boring to me about halfway through the first level.
I loved COD 2, and WAW wasn’t too bad either. Modern Warfare brought a fresh idea into the franchise, but failed to deliver, MW2 was a repeat of the prior. Black Ops all around failed to entertain me.
COD4 failed to deliver? It’s the absolute best game in the franchise.

Spore was a sick joke. That’s the most overrated game ever, right there.
Also, I don’t really like CoD 4, because every damned level was either A: In the middle of the desert with Marines, or B: In some depressing country near Russia with SAS. It’s mind-numbing to play on multiplayer because of that.
World at War was my favorite out of WaW, CoD 4, Modern Warfare 2, and Black Ops.
