What Game Did You Play Today?

I’ve been replaying Metal Gear Solid 4, as I only recently learned the game was updated to include trophies. Plus, you can do a full install of game content, so no more 2 minute act break installs.

I also just bought Spec Ops: The Line during the Steam sale. I hate my internet- it’s making this game take FOREVER to download.

Story of my life.

Listened to a bit of F-Zero GX’s soundtrack. Almost immediately played a bit when I got the chance. Ragequit due to expert difficulty.

So I just downloaded and installed MWLL again…to be greeted by one populated server with 7 players and 300 ping.

fuck.

I bought Plants vs. Zombies ages ago and am finally playing it.

Legend of Grimrock. Played for about a half an hour. At some point fell down a pit in the middle of a couple of snails and couldn’t go anywhere. Died.

I played through most of Episode 2 today.

I’d forgotten how pretty this game is; the forest scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The soundtrack is great too.

It’s satisfying to be shaving ten seconds off F-Zero GX track ghosts I made in 2004. It means even though I’m getting older and my reflexes should be dulling, I manage to outpace myself at 14 when I had nimbler fingers. Guess I’m not getting awful at games after all.

Some Fallout Three. Decided to save Reilly’s Rangers, though only for their armor. While exploring the Capitol building, I unexpectedly ran into a behemoth. Shit almost got real, cept talon company was there to help unknowingly. I love watching them die horribly.

Got those with some Humble Bundle, I think. I hate their cutesy “look at how clever i am” indie bullshit writing.

Played a little bit more Legend of Grimrock. Managed to revive the guy that died last time but then I encountered one of those little spitting mushrooms which killed me pretty quickly.

Played some Halo 4 spartan ops. Can be frustrating (though not impossible) without teammates.

When there are no teammates I just abuse the infinite respawn system. :retard:

Played some of the Brutal Hexen Betawhile waiting for MWLL to redownload. Pretty fun

Got the water chip in Fallout, so I don’t have that stupid time limit anymore. Maxed out my speech skill as well. I wish I had known how the default characteristics worked when I was making my character. I probably would have maxed one of them out. As it is I have intelligence and perception at 7, agility at 6, and everything else at 5.

So what’s the big deal with this water chip? You only have a limited amount of time to find it?

I guess. I don’t know if the game will end if the time runs out but I would imagine so. I had plenty of time still, about 70 days before sending more water up there, but still. Now I have to find someone who’s creating mutants. Actually trying to join the Brotherhood of Steel now.

That’s a good choice. Joining the brotherhood is the easiest way to find the mutant spawner.

I guess that’s what a lifetime of constant hand-eye workout does to a man. In a million years, if it lasts, humanity is gonna be something else.

We’re on the way out. GG humanity
