Played the commercial version of Dear Esther. Graphics are absolutely jaw-dropping. But the protagonist’s narration seems much more overtly suicidal than in the original mod.

Which is probably for the best. The original’s incredibly abstract, artsy writing, combined with the random order in which it plays, was pretty much incomprehensible. I actually once read a summary of exactly what it all means and still didn’t fully understand it.

I’ve been waiting long enough already, it’s never coming out, stop holding your breath. And even if it does come out, I’m not gonna play it because it doesn’t even look modern anymore. They should’ve just made it in UDK or CryEngine smh

On topic: I played Serious Sam the Second Enounter. I really like this game.
Beat Diablo 1 on normal, Diablo was a bitch to kill because my spells basically did jack shit against him so I had to rely on my physical DPS and ability to quickly move potions from my inventory to my 4-row belt

^I’ve been stuck on them for forever. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried at least 20 times. I retried a few times today and managed to get to the second part with the fat guy after killing the other guy. I’m just saying fuck it to getting the skinny guy’s armor because it’s a hell of a lot easier to face the fat guy in the second part than the skinny guy.
I just gave up trying to do it by myself. I summoned someone and I took out skinny while he kept fatty distracted. Then we were pretty much home free.
Well I originally pirated the game so unless I want to start the entire thing over I can’t play online because my save won’t work with the legitimate copy of the game I have now. And if I summon Solaire he gets distracted by the giants guarding the entrance to the boss fight.
This is the south park game, right?
