Spine?
Oh trust me, I’ve tried using the Creation Kit. Not my thing. I don’t have the patience or the focus that’s required for that sort of thing. That’s why I said “I don’t have what it takes” instead of “I don’t have what I need”.
I can make a halfway competent map in Hammer if I put my mind to it, but I can’t wrap my head around that thing no matter how hard I try.
Dear lord XCOM 2 is hard.
Some skyrim today. Anyone know any good animation improving mods on the workshop? I’ve got a couple, can’t recall their names.
Any good mods besides those would be cool too. Preferably off the workshop, I don’t wanna deal with nexus stuff (I’m too stupid for it really). I’m not looking for “funny” stuff, more like “improvements” on the game that’s there, maybe some cool weapons, armor, lighting, weather, etc etc
Sold a bunch of crap in my inventory, bought Kentucky Route Zero on sale and played all 3 acts.
I really enjoyed it.
It’s very moody, it has great… I don’t even know, game-atography? Basically it has a nice minimalistic style to its presentation and some scenes you could frame and hangon a wall, at least I could.
The bar song moment in act III was great.
I would recommend this to everyone who: loves slow point-and-clicks; likes the atmosphere of Twin Peaks and the first season of True Detective; enjoys Telltale games; isn’t afraid to read a lot.
Alan Wake.
Christ, chapter 2 is hard. The combat just feels a little bullshit/stupid sometimes.
Edit: Okay nevermind, that one section in particular was stupidly hard, but now I’m breezing through. It seems headshots don’t actually mean anything in this game, so you just aim for centre-of-mass and each enemy seems to have a fixed amount of hits required to kill it.
Need for Speed Most Wanted (2012). It’s the free game with Origin right now and I forgot how much I loved it on 360. I’ve been sitting back with a controller and playing while listening to MF DOOM in the background. Good times.
More Alan Wake. I really like that you can toggle what side of the screen he’s on, really helps with screenshots.

Yeah, wish more third-person shooters had shoulder-swap buttons.
really helps with screenshots.
Not to mention aiming around corners without having to be completely exposed.

Holy crap, I never thought of using it like that. o_o Cheers.
All I know is I like to have him on the left of the screen. Being on the right makes him feel sluggish for some reason.
Having my video card out, I decided to play something less graphically taxing: Fallout. I don’t like it. I hate dice rolls, and I’m not a fan of turn-based combat.
Less challenging or not challenging haha did it work then?
Since Aion is lagging the holy hell out, I’m gonna play Undertale for the first time.
Alan Wake, finished it off.
Fantastic game all around. Gameplay was very same-ey the entire way around, and even playing on normal it felt like I always had way more ammo than I needed (especially if you bother looking for the ammo stashes hidden around).
Visuals were fantastic overall, I loved the different locations and sceneries, but because the game is overwhelmingly wrapped in the dark colours it does get very same same. Music was fantastic, especially during a certain concert experience. Good story, mostly good characters, good dialogue. The VA for Alan could’ve done a little better on the manuscript readings but it wasn’t necessarily bad.
A lot of work went into the game, it’s plain to see. I’m sad the sequel (true sequel not spin off like AWAN) is on indefinite hold, so we can only hope it eventually gets mad. I think I’ll play something else before I play AW: American Nightmare. Maybe Dead Space 1 and 2 (and 3 I own on Origin due to humble bundle, RIP) since they’re horror 3rd person shooters as well but different game and gameplay, or I may play something different entirely.
Edit: Oh shit, there are 2 specials to play through, forgot about them.
Edit2: So I decided I’ll finish HL: Ep 1 afterwards (I’m up to the train station bit basically, I hate it) then replay ep2. Does anyone else get weird stuttering when opening up the options menu in the HL games? My computer is more than capable of running the games and doesn’t lag, it’s just the menu has a few seconds of weird audio loop/stuttering.

Yeah, it’s always been like that, kind of an old issue. It can happen even in GoldSrc games.
I got all the Most Wanted cars in NFS: Most Wanted 2012 and finished Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches in the last few days. Back to Fallout 4 before the DLC drops!
HL2:Ep 2.
I’ve played it before but now I’m replaying it since it’s been a while). I missed 5 of the antlion grubs, and I gave up on the stupid gnome achievement. There was a part with the chopper where I had to leave it behind, but in doing so I could never go back and get it, and I had no solid save to go back to to rectify that.
Salty as hell. Seriously, I get achievements are meant to be a challenge, something you actually achieve, but the gnome in the muscle car is so un-fun. They couldn’t just put a boot in the car?

Last year, in a fit of pure gamer masochism, I did both the Grub and the Gnome achievements, on Very Hard. Getting the gnome back in that car while the hunter chopper carves through your health like hot tea through snow is not fun.
Regardless, no regrets.

Well, they could, but that wouldn’t make it as hard to unlock it.
I’ve managed to get it by driving a bit, stop, throw the gnome with the grav. gun in the distance, and repeat over and over till I’m done.
On the other hand, that damned grub achievement trolled me like fuck every single time. Last time I missed it with 331/333 -__- . THAT, was very frustrating. Pretty much gave up on it.
I got 100% of Ep2 achievements.
I am a masochist.
