What Game Did You Play Today?

Just finished The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. That Zelda game was awesome!

I’m still stuck on…one of the dungeons. Either way I was playing Triple Deluxe while we were driving to the beach (FAMIRRY OUUTTING). Unfortunately my 3DS ran out of power on the trip, but luckily I brought a replacement: Mario Advance 2 (Super Mario World).

All of the GBA nostalgia.

Which one?

All of those Super Mario Advance games were really cool to play. The only one I missed out was Super Mario Advance 4 (Super Mario Bros. 3). To make up for that, I played the original Mario Bros. 3 on my 3DS several months ago.

Started Pikmin 3 finally. I forgot how fun the Pikmin games are. This one is interesting too because it incorporates more RTS elements, and the way it integrates the gamepad is pretty neat.

“Crysis 3”, just lost Rasch (if I remember his name correctly), and later played a bit in “Metro: Last Light”. “Crysis 3” for me really tops any other game I played on PC!

I don’t recall the name. It’s the one you have to sneak past all those guards really easily to get into.

Yeah, but they fucked up the graphics in the Yoshi’s Island one, as well as the music in 2 and 3.

That one was pretty tricky. It took me a while to get past them.

Fallout: New Vegas

:awesome:

Overlord II.

Playing “Metro: Last Light”, trying to achieve the good ending. Already have the bad ending done in the past. Also, am near completion of “Crysis 3” game, am stunned by it.

Still playing lots of Quake. This game is a lot more challenging than I remember it.

Mario Galaxy 1.
Still the best Mario game, and still the only fun 3D Mario game.

Oh, I have spent countless hours playing that game, years ago. For me it is kind of hard to be playing it now (and I tried).

Sir You Are Being Hunted. I like how you can now edit the spawn patterns so I don’t have to deal with those annoying dogs until later in the game. The odd thing is that even with the crapload of normal hunters late in the game, the spawn rate for them is still only 2 or 3 out of 5. I wonder what would happen if I increased everything to 5. Would probably cause pretty poor performance with all the AI and models walking around. I want to try it next.

Also played a few levels in Doom 1, with Chocolate Doom. And checked out that cycle perfect SNES (and NES and GB(A)) emulator bsnes/higan, played some Super Mario World. Anyone got any recommendations for good SNES games to play? I only really played a few games on the SNES.

Super Mario Bro’s 3 is my all time favorite SNES game. It’s been so long, I can’t remember much else. Rolling Thunder (i think is its name) is a fun one. It’s frustrating as absolute fuck though. Legend of Zelda, the original one that started the series off, is a good game.

SMB3 is NES I think. Never heard of Rolling Thunder.

SMB 3 has a SNES remake that came with Super Mario All-Stars.

Played Smite. It’s fun I guess.

Ah, they all might be NES then. I get those mixed up.

Super Metroid, Mega Man 7, Yoshi’s Island, Super Castlevania IV, Link to the Past, Kirby Super Star (and Dreamland 3), Megaman X, Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, or any of the Donkey Kong Country games are all good choices.

(or maybe I just am a big fan of platformers)
