I F.I.N.A.L.LY. got around playing Fallout 3. (yes, that’s a 3, not a 4). And I even got an uncut steam version, which is not too easy to get hold of here in Germany.

Great game so far! And I eventually am gaining enough self esteem to wander the wastes. When I stepped out of the Vault, the first few hours I was just like “Of fuck, what’s that attacking me! They are evrywehere!” and “What? I should leave Megaton and go all the way to that Super Duper Mart that is certainly full of assholes?” They did a great job making the wastes a dangerous place that can be full of (bad) surprises around every other corner…like a rocket straight to your face, when you’re in the wrong neighbourhood (basically all of DC is the wrong neighbourhood).
Fought my way to the Technical museum past those big ass minigun super mutants. I still get confused by the subway, though. It’s a pitty that you can’t wander through the city street by street and instead have the kind of shut off areas that are only accessbile via the subway.
Anyway, I sure am curious about the rest of the game!

I also played Shadow Complex Remastered. Really a fun game! Great Metroidvania clone. Huge map, but once I (think I) explored it all it did seem smaller than Super Metroid I thought. But I didn’t finish the game, yet. Although…I got the “Single” achievement quite early in the game ;D

Finished Penumbra Black Plague and Requiem yesterday (Since Req is only puzzles and in general shorter, it didn’t take too long).

I might play the 2 Amnesia games when I get back from holiday or I’ll just jump back into SOMA. Not decided yet.

I’m fucking finally nearly at the Payday 2 level cap of 2626. Fucking Christ, and only 4 achievements off 100%.

So MGS1’s PC port crashes whenever it gets to an FMV cutscene, and MGS1 on ePSXe crashes whenever I save the game. I guess I’m just not going to play this thing unless it’s legit.

Maybe then the PS3 will somehow get a red ring of death

So I finished Undertale today. I did the True Pacifist run.

I’m never, ever going to do the Geno run, because I never, never want to kill Toriel.

Love Undertale so much. It feels so refreshing in the midst of AAA madness, and a good prelude to next year’s sequel fest. The uniqueness of it was something very much needed.

The Genocide run my friend and I had ran through in a night. We were crying so bad since both of us had already beaten the game on True Pacifist already and we felt like scum afterwards.

Fuck Sans and that stupid genocide fight btw. That took us a solid 2 or so hours. Also the we were recording for my friend’s YouTube channel and that whole “I bet some sicko is watching this right now because they couldn’t even bring themselves to do it.” meta comment from Flowey before the Asgore fight was so creepy.

I picked up Darksiders II in the sale and got a ways through it today.

I picked up DN3D: Megaton Edition at the sales and played quite a lot since then, including today.

MAN, NOW THAT’S A GREAT GAME.

Although it’s so damn difficult (playing on Come Get Some). The last time I played something this challenging was 13-14yrs. ago when I was a small kid and had a Win. 95 PC with games like Doom 2, another great game, but it scared me too much at the time to enjoy it.

Not sure if it counts but I’ve been programming my game, today I even added the despised official filter of the 8th Gen! CHROMATIC ABERRATION!
All the coding including the engine has been done by scratch by me, while one of my friends made all the models and most of the textures.
