What Game Did You Play Today?

Woo, finished Darksiders 2, the campaign anyway. Time to do the DLC.

The game was really really good, though the last area of the game + final boss left a lot to be desired unfortunately.

Trying and failing to beat Xenoblade Chronicles before it’s sequel comes out. I think I’m really just not good at any RPG ever.

Feels good not starting this post with “It looks like”

Finished Bloodlines again, as Malkavian this time.

Is there any way to play the MGS games before Rising and 5 on PC?

1 and 2 are natively on PC. They’re playable but not ideal. Can’t get either to play their video cutscenes, but they’re rare and mostly just extra history stuff to go along with monologues. Apparently this isn’t a problem for everyone though but I haven’t figured out how to get them to play for me. You can emulate 3 to some extent. I’d honestly suggest getting a PS3 and the Legacy Collection.

Come on, Kojima! Port MGS4 to PC! Imagine how GOOD it would look at 60fps…

Finished Penumbra Overture. Last time I played it was maybe 2012 I think. Time to play black plague, requiem, re-play Amnesia and then finish SOMA. There are definitely things in Penumbra that SOMA doesn’t and I miss, but it’s amazing to see how far Frictional has come since then.

Slowly but surely working my way through my steam games.

I’ve been playing Darksiders. I think I picked it up in a Humble Bundle ages ago and never got around to playing it (or anything else in the bundle).

It’s fun and goofy, so far. Everyone tries to be so edgy all the time.

I also finished up Thomas Was Alone today. I grabbed it in the exploration sale yesterday. I’ve been making good use of my four-day weekend.

I’m also slowly playing Darksiders. Unfortunately since I played and finished Darksiders 2 first, I can see a lot of the flaws that 1 has so it’s stopping me from playing throught it at anything resembling a decent pace.

WGDIPT: More Penumbra: BP and started a new game of “Sir, you are being hunted”. Haven’t played it since it got officially released/“finished”.

Played through Wolfenstein : TNO again. God I hope they make a sequel to this, or even another prequel giving more background to this timeline with Blasko and the gang.

Also been playing Shadow of Mordor recently, always fun cutting off Uruk’s heads haha breaking up the week I’ve spent binging Fallout 4 with those two games. All great and enjoyable games, in my opinion.

Finished Darksiders. The combat still left a bit to be desired but I liked the puzzles a lot overall. Was a very good game overall though. I know they made Darksiders 2: Deathinitive edition to see if there was interest in Darksiders 3. I really hope it happens.
Got all the artifacts, all the weapon enhancements, all the wrath and lifestone shards. The only achievements I missed are the ones that’ll require me to replay the game.

Another game crossed off.

Finally unlocked the Keeper in Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Now if I can ever be bothered to unlock the Lost, I’ll have the whole set.

Xenoblade 3D is eager to remind me that whether it’s turn-based or not, I’m horrible at RPGs. I’m not confident in my ability to complete the game before christmas.

Aaaand win streak -20.

I’ve been playing the Shadow Complex remaster. Insane amount of fun so far, would recommend. It’s like Super Metroid meets Metal Gear.

I actually played some of that for my stream. The game holds up very well and it’s still quite addictive. The auto aim on the background shooting occasionally has problems though, but mouse and keyboard control actually works just as well as, if not better than, a controller input.

PAYDAY 2, again.
Infamy 21.
1 infamy per-day for 3 days.
So close to the level cap.
Fuck everything, this grind is killing me.
But once I’m there…

…I can start playing the game for real.

Dishonored is sucking me back in for a fifth playthrough. Figured I’d play it again before I buy the DLC on the Holiday sale.

Just played Dr Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald A Whirlwind Heist. The Justin Roiland cameo is pretty great and the game as a whole is probably funnier than The Stanley Parable.

I’ve been playing Gothic 1,Deus Ex 1 and Half-Life 1 including Jazz Jackrabbit 3(leaked alpha demo) on Windows 8.1.
