What Game Did You Play Today?

I just finished an AOE II HD match lasting 06:10:46 against my friend. Apparently choosing Nomad as map type generate way too much resources. We had 5 bots against us, two which resigned before building Town centers because my friend used his villagers to destroy them. The third on was soon too follow when I sent an army of 5 militias and destroyed their town center.

The two other grew strong and and kept fighting my friend while I built armies, then one of them decided to attack my walls and soon his city was nothing but rubble. Last one was soon to follow.
Then I and my friend kept fighting each other for 3 more hours, he finally got me though. Couldn’t find the way to defeat chinese with mayan.

Why did you shade that haha

I’ve been playing fallout 3, now that I have the add-on’s. Out of curiousty, does anyone know if the FO3 with the add-on’s included on the 360 have some sort of graphics update as well? It looks like it does.

Just got “The Typing of the Dead: Overkill” on Steam. This is fuckin’ great.

Well, except for the fact that I can’t play co-op. It won’t let my friend and I load into a chapter. Keeps thinking we haven’t readied up when we have. Weird.

Brutal Doom, so much Brutal Doom.

Also, when the violence becomes too much, I found my old-as-aw-hell-naw copy of Nerf Arena Blast. It’s surprisingly not-terrible!

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is incredible. Not the boss fights though, they can go fuck themselves.

XCOM: Enemy Within.

Found EXALT’s main base. Haven’t raided it yet because I need the Officer school to get six quad members and for my best men to heal up from the last mission.

The French were hiding them. Go figure.

Oh I’m sure the French fought them. Initially. But then they had to rely on their stockpiles of white bed sheets, unfortunately.

I am GOING to beat Risk of Rain with the commando. Even though he’s a shit, underpowered character.

Rollercoaster Tycoon! So many memories here.

I tried building a wooden rollercoaster. It looked really boring and slow, but when I checked the stats it was a 14.47 - “ultra-extreme” - in intensity.

Whatever this is.

Could you take a screenshot of it? I could help you knock down that rating to make it better. I’ve played a rather unhealthy amount of that game over my lifetime, so let me know if you’d like a coaster consultation. :3

Also, take a screen of the overall ratings on test- intensity, excitement, nausea, g forces, highest drop height, etc.

Actually, I already made it better - with some gentler slopes and brakes, I brought the intensity down to about 6.2, which I think is close to ideal. It did really well with the guests after that.

Just had a 15 - 0 win in World of Tanks

Sounds pretty good! Don’t forget to put trees, fountains, and other rides near the coaster to bump up the excitement points a bit. Works wonders.

EDIT: Playing more XCOM: Enemy Unknown. I just got my second MEC trooper leveled to Corporal. The game decided to name her “Number Six.” Guess one of the developers is a Battlestar fan…

i started mgs rising + its sick but omg the music is so bad

Finally started playing MGR. It’s pretty cool, controls well enough with kb+m except for the horrible negative mouse acceleration (and the camera automatically centering if you leave it alone and while moving despite there being a key specifically for that). Also I absolutely hate how 99% of the cutscenes are prerendered. Especially since it’s technically a MGS game, which have never had prerendered cutscenes.

Played a bit of Tomb Raider.

It’s…okay I guess thus far. Not a fan of her accent, but that’s ignorable.

You don’t like the British voice actress’ British accent?

I didn’t enjoy it either. I did like the game after the first half hour though.

Oh lord, that’s an actual british person doing it?

It sounds like a british person imitiating an american who is doing a british accent (if that makes sense).
