Yeah. Leaves to wonder if he means the G-Man.
Wouldn’t even be surprised. Oh dang it, I shouldn’t be doing this… But do you think the G-Man will be the final boss fight in the entire universe?

Nah, G-mans no more than a broker of sorts. A third party kinda idea. Whatever the greater master is, it’s what controls the combine as it’s ruler. The greater master might not even be a physical being. It could be part of what the vorts refer to as the vortessence itself.
Although, at several times, the vorts mention they serve the “same mystery” as Freeman. But that doesn’t mean G-man. My reasoning is what I stated earlier on this post: G-mans simply a broker. He is hired to find candidates for whatever hires him, for whatever purpose.
Edit: if anything, g-man is an ally. Kind of. Though closer to neutral. He acts on his own, but is definitely playing mostly by a script.
That is an interesting (and logical) thought…
You might not be far off. Depends on what THEY have in store… (And by THEY, we all know who I mean)
Black Mesa has always been my one of my favorites.
Gotten back into KSP. Currently (slowly) building my space station.
Still lost in War Thunder.
I swear, I’ll just start flying on a broomstick and spit at the enemy to give them a chance.
A lot of people seem to agree that some of those lines are just subtle nods at the player being in control of Freeman.
And if g-man caused the resonance cascade, he sure as hell isn’t an ally.
Fez. This is a damn cool game. I got out a pen and paper for the first time… probably ever (I wasn’t really gaming yet back when a pen and paper were completely necessary tools.)
About to start a New Game+.
Finally got around to finishing Assassin’s Creed III.
I have a lot of conflicting emotions about this game, how it was executed, and what it means for the series. This probably merits a full dressing down of the game in a review at some point.
Duke Nukem 3D metropolitan mayhem episode + some sprite mods.
This custom episode is really good, fits right in with the original first episode of the game aesthetically, and has some really cool levels in it (it has a train level like Blood too)
Saints Row: The Third
Been playing every non-essential mission that I can stand to before going into the story missions to ear enough money to buy every property available to me so far. I have all but three, I think. I will get those tomorrow or Wednesday (Tuesday is poker night and I am busy ).
I have that game but haven’t installed it. Is it any good?
He MOSTLY is. But not entirely. Like I said, he’s closer to neutral, like he’s just doing whatever the reward pays for.
Also, on topic, I have been playing bulletstorm on and off recently. It’s addictingly fun.
So far 2 and 3 are worth it. There are some bits about 3 that are off, but over all it is still fun. I think 2 was a little better. Haven’t played 1 or 4 yet (don’t know if I will ever play 1). The driving is incredibly clunky compared to GTA, but still workable once you get used to it. The missions are more silly, but more fun. The shooting is much better in 3 than 2. The driving is more slippery in 3. The story in both is so much more straight forward in both games, and nowhere near as muddled as in a GTA game.
Thumbs up to both.
Saints Row 3 is a lot of fun if you can just turn your brain off.
Also I’ve recently found the Dead Space/Half-Life easter egg regarding “Missing ships” - after research on SR’s wiki, most of them are real, but there’s a few fictious ones, such as USG Ishimura and the… Borealis. While I’m somewhat surprised there’s no “S.S.V. Normandy SR-1”, it’s also somewhat understandable, as the state of most real ships (and both the Ishimura and Borealis) is a complete unknown, while everyone knows what happens to the Normandy…
Anyway, as I said, I needed to turn my brain off in order to have fun in Saints Row. But once I managed… boy did I have a LOT of it.
More Skyrim. Got to level 60 smithing finally and made myself a Dovahcore helmet for the heck of it
I don’t care for that kind of description. I prefer just to think of games as fun or not. The level of intelligence needed for them doesn’t matter. Do I find the game fun? Yes. I will play it. Do I find the game fun? No. I won’t play it. Saints Row games are fun.
Which is why I did turn my brain off in the first place. It was loads of fun.
I own all available properties in Saints 3. I upgraded my character to find collectables on the map, and am searching for those to pass the time while my income increases to millionaire levels so that I can upgrade myself even more, and thrash everything that gets in my way
Skyrim.
I’m starting to warm up to Serana. You can actually flirt with her…
