What Game Did You Play Today?

Picked up X-Com: Enemy Within on Saturday and I’m having a blast with it, even though that cryssalid mission is a pain in the butt and only 2 of my troopers survived. Now I’m on the Base Defence mission, which is easy since I’ve already teched to power armor and plasma weapons

Re-played through Wolfenstein : TNO.

Found the hidden Easter egg throwback to the original Wolfenstein :3

And that ending :frowning: everytime, it kinda catches me.

Just played my best game in WoT ever

Finished A story about my uncle. Under 3 dollars for nearly 9 hours, I’m calling worth on that. Super enjoyable game, and the underlying story/message changes everything.
Need to replay levels to get the achievements. I actually like you’ve gotta work for them, not just play the game and get every achievement.

Played some more TWD. Second playthrough is making me realise I actually don’t like Kenny.

World of Tanks, it’s a bit more playable now that SEA-ME-WE 3 Perth <-> Singapore segment has been fixed.

Ping around 160ms instead of ~280ms.

EDIT: also some more Lords of the Fallen. Took out the 3rd boss and found a nice trinket which boosts max equipment load - now have “green” weight even with a great weapon, tower shield and medium armour
Took some screenshots as well

Just finished playing Wind Waker HD. That was an awesome game.

Is it the first time you’ve played Windwaker period?

Also, been doing some BF4 cause I got it on sale. Bought MGS5:GZ’s as well, and what an excellent game that was (despite its short length). I can’t wait for the rest x)

Yes it is. I never got the chance to play it when it was on the GameCube.

I had the GCN version, I just could never get past the first dungeon because of Metal Gear Solid interrupting my Zelda game. I got the Wii U port later and I still haven’t finished it because I’m lazy.

Shame. MGS is weak compared to the glory of LoZ.

Haha it’s my favorite LoZ, next to Majora’s Mask. I’ve yet to play the WiiU version, as I don’t have one.

Getting very close to finishing Super Mario 3D World. Can’t wait to play Bayonetta 1 & 2 very soon! Also started playing Final Fantasy on my Galaxy Note 4 and Final Fantasy III on Steam.

I think he means that stealth mission sequence in the Forbidden Fortress. That part was annoying when I first did it.

Yeah. I really wish I had my sword so that I didn’t have to hide in the barrels.

Ah, that makes sense. It was kinda lame, but now I kinda enjoy it. Never the Triforce bit tho, God no.

Ugh, that’s the main reason I still haven’t beaten it yet. I still think I enjoy Wind Waker more than Ocarina of Time, though. I guess it’s that Wind Waker has a couple giant things of shit, whereas with OOT it’s more of an age thing and more small things spread out over the game, just kind of wearing you down slowly. And it’s at that point where I actually agree with Arin Hanson for once. and then he compares Sonic Generations to Shadow the hedgehog and I remember why it’s “for once”

Urgh, accidentally refreshed before posting. ._.

Anyway. I finished TWD and then played the DLC and finished TWD : Season 2.
I didn’t really like S2 if we’re being honest. Clem just didn’t make a good or that interesting protagonist and I didn’t honestly give 2 shits about almost all the characters. I liked Luke quite a bit but even then I was like ‘eh’. Can’t be fucked re-typing my entire thing.

Have been enjoying the Worms Revolution, great game, that to me appeals as much as Crysis 3 did, in every way!

HL2:Ep2.
Man, I don’t know how anyone can get that Neighborhood Watch achievement. It’s friggen impossible. But yeah, that bit is easily the most intense section in all of Half Life.
Plus, man, that ending. It brings legitimate tears, not even going to lie.
Anybody who says that videogames can’t inspire legitimate emotion is a fool.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I really don’t like Sam’s new voice, and you can’t crouch while carrying downed enemies. It still does some things right though.

Ether One. It’s a very pretty game. Some of the puzzles are a little confusing, but not OMGFUCKTHISGAMEISSTUPIDHARDFORNOREASON that people on Steam seem to bitch about.

On another note, I got the Stalker bundle during the winter sale. Gonna play through SoC, are there any mods I should get on start up? I think I had heard about some graphical mods and bug fixes that don’t affect anything else.
