Beat the Painted World and killed Priscilla in Dark Souls. Finally got my Lifehunt Scyth and I like it. Got it up to +2 and it already does about as much damage as my +10 halberd, on top of which it does 50% of an enemy’s health in damage when their bleed meter is filled up. Though I don’t think it’ll ever be my primary weapon because using it raises my bleed meter too and unless I want to kill myself I’m not going to be able to use it all the time. Good thing I have Havel’s ring that lets me have two weapons equipped at once without using up too much weight.
I bought Starbound the other day, and I’ve been playing it for a while.
The game is pretty decent so far. At first, it played uncannily like a 2D minecraft, but once you manage to get your way up the tech tiers it gets entertaining. Frankly, though, I’m hoping that they plan to add a lot more stuff to the game, because it feels a bit sparse at the moment. At the very least, there ought to be a way to deliberately seek out dungeons, villages, and other structures, instead of beaming to random planets and praying you find something. The space-ship overworld, in general, could do to be improved.
I assume you’ve never played Terraria then? Starbound is the spiritual sequel to Terraria, made by the same guy.
Terraria is even more like 2D Minecraft, in that respect.
I’ve played plenty of Terraria, and I’m aware of the connection. Starbound just strikes me as being even more like Minecraft than Terraria is, at least up until you start planet-hopping.
Started playing Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon on my new 3DS. I really like this game so far.
Playing some DayZ hardcore.
Ran into two guys who I thought were going to pillage and rape my shit after taking me around back, away from prying eyes. Instead, they gave me a bandage roll and a saline bag and let me go on my merry way.
Then later on, upon exploring the wrecked cargo ship, I slipped and fell of the side, killing myself. I spawn and start running back towards my gear when I hear two familiar voices telling me to stop. It was them again, and–not knowing who I was–they gave me another bandage roll and saline bag.
Why can’t more people be like these guys?
Humanity. Most are assholes.
Got to the Tomb of Giants in Dark Souls and got to the VTOL missing in Crysis.
Last week my internet was down, so I played TONS of Red Alert 3: Shock Therapy over LAN and Pokemon White 2
Replaying Bulletstorm…so sad we 'll never get a sequel
.
Starbound. I finally have a survival pack I can use to breath in a vacuum, so I went mining in an asteroid field. It was surprisingly peaceful. This game has excellent music and atmosphere.
Finished Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2. I thought it was a good DLC. Playing as Elizabeth in the DLC is very different from playing as Booker in the main game and Burial at Sea Episode 1 and I really like it.
Beat Crysis again. Now to replay Warhead.
I don’t know why, but I can’t stop playing CS:GO lately. I’m so bad at it (compared to who I typically get matched up with) but I’m finding it so enjoyable. I must’ve racked up ~20 weapon kill achievements in the past couple days alone.
Tried out some Pokemon X on my 3DS. Looks great.
Kirby Squeak Squad.
I fucking love Kirby, that psychopath murderer.
Starbound. After not seeing a single weapon since the alpha sector, I found a plasma shotgun in a chest right next to the spawn. Then, on the same planet, I found an avian temple and got about half a dozen different ranges weapons off the guards. The RNG gods are fickle indeed.
they updated kerbal space program with huge physical asteroids
Finally got around to playing and beating Bioshock Infinite, and just… whoa.
The combat got repetitive quickly, and storytelling and gameplay seemed to be at each other’s throats at times (Oh, intense moment? 1 sec, lemme loot this trash can), but holy cow, everything else was so good.
Stalker with Autumn Aurora 2
Had an interesting shootout with a sniper, with a rather anticlimactic ending
Also barely managed to survive searching red forest for artifacts. Had to fight psy-dogs spawning multiple illusions of themselves, snorks, and zombies among other things.
Luckily I managed to find a great deal of valuable artifacts (no negative effects) and just barely made it out of the forest and back to the road before dark, with only 2 medkits and no food left.
