So how am I supposed to enter a UFO with aliens inside if as soon as I do they can fire on me because they’re not spending their action points moving?
If one entrance is too dangerous you might be able to make another one, with enough firepower
Making noise outside might lure them out (can’t remember if this would actually work or not).
Grenades might help clear out doorway-camping aliens
Well in the original you need to go through doors to open them I’m pretty sure. I had actually forgotten about the grenade that everyone gets. That might have saved one of my guys. Also I could only fine one entrance.
The whole environment is destructible. Try blowing a hole in a wall with explosives and effecting entry that way. You might get lucky and take out enemies on the other side.
Replaying Far Cry 2, but with SweetFX so I can use SMAA and get rid of the Real is Brown bullshit. It’s like a whole nother game.
tooooons of Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior.
Holy shit I love it.
Played Arkham Origins today.
It REALLY lacks the Rocksteady touch.
Not really today, but during the last week, I’ve finally got around to installing all the Fallout 3 mods I used to have and finished the last 2 DLCs, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. Both felt somewhat over the top.
When I had finished those, I decided that I should start a new character and go the Evil way. …And before I had left the vault my Karma was positive. I suck at being evil in RPG’s. Was going to blow up Megaton, but killed Mr’s Burke instead. So instead of being an unsympathetic asshole, my character have now turned into a pick pocketing burglar wannabe bad girl who take pot shots at a a distance at people when she’s bored.
This reminds me of when I used to play New Vegas. I’ve played through it four times, two of those I was going to join the legion, Four of those I didn’t.
FTL.
I always do fine until the enemy sends boarding parties, then I promptly die. I’m going to focus more on buying crew this time around.
Hard Reset. Not really enjoying myself. Might switch to Just Cause 2 in a bit.
Been playing on my Brand-new (Used) Wii U. Can’t wait for the new Smash Bros. to come out
Still playing Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
I’m at 99 percent sync with a sole hidden chest missing… And the plan for this is only possible to acquire via Kenway’s Fleet… So I’m stuck waiting 22 hours before I can get a hundred percent…
Strange, I never got a hundred percent on a game before…
I managed 100% completion on Burnout Revenge. (Original Xbox)
Played some Jagged Alliance 2. Game’s really fun, but pretty hard. Most of these turn based tactics (or whatever they’re called) games are.
Got A Link Between Worlds for Christmas. Pretty good.
In terms of console games, you could say I’m late to the party by multiple years. Because today was the first time I ever played Mario Kart Wii, Mega Man 10, Kirby Air Ride, or even Mario Sunshine.
Decided to pick up the game Xenonauts rather than the Xcom remake, as it seems more similar to the original game. I’m liking it a lot so far. It’s probably a bit more forgiving than the original game, which is great while I get a bit better. Still going to play the original a bit too.
Ridiculous Fishing: a Tale of Redemption. There’s really not much I can say about it, except how truthful the title is (except for the redemption because why not)
Got a gift card from my girlfriend’s parents. I’m sure they would be mortified to find out that I used it to get Saints Row The Third: The Full Package…
Well, have fun. SR:TT is fucking hilarious…
Siants Row 3 was quite fun, but 2 and IV were so much better…
