What Game Did You Play Today?

Started playing the FreeSpace2 mod “The Babylon Project”. It’s very well done for a mod. The models and textures are well done, the missions are interesting and original, and it’s a true total conversion mod. Unfortunately, like with most mods, the story feels “meh” and the voice acting leaves something to be desired. Seeing as the actual gameplay is solid, and it’s a mod, I think I’ll let it slide.

I played and completed it!

But, I thought he could…I don’t know, revive maybe?

Well, no. Unless you put the mask on there will never be another Jack Of Blades.

i finally finished new vegas but the ending crashed two times before i got to boone’s part and i almost had a heart attack

but i got the good ending for him wheeee

Played some New Vegas, and spent a good five minutes reloading a save in Freeside to see a ragdoll glitch and go flying about 50 feet in the air. Other than that, just finished Vault 11. Pretty cool stuff, although I think doors should be able to stop lasers and bullets.

I didn’t notice the 28 Days Later songs, though I was pretty much asleep when I watched it :fffuuu: . The HEV suit threw me off when I first put it on. It was weird. Pretty cool, though, until you run out of stuff to use. Then it just gets annoying.

For some dumbass Reason, the Barman REFUSES to talk to me. I have at least 4 quests that I need to get done that require me speaking to him, but he remains stoic, anything I can do to get ol’ fatty to work?

Never had that happen to me. What exactly happens? The conversation box doesn’t come up at all?

I finished Amnesia and I’ve got to say, one of the best games that I have ever played. Definitely worth the $14 I payed for it :3 . Also THE scariest/creepiest game I have ever played.

The torture rooms near the end :fffuuu: !

He’ll just stand there looking straight forward, no “Talk” thing comes up when I approach his counter like with Sid (trader in cordon). he just stands there Staring, glaring as if I offended him. everyone else in the bar is interactive, Hell, Snitch will even buy/Equip the stuff I sell to him. I’ll Replace the gamedata folder, see if that helps (I’ve been screwing with a few of the LTX files in order to get the player to be able to carry more/withstand more damage)
EDIT
That fixed it. Must’ve overwritten a file somewhere that broke the script for the Barman. NOTE TO SELF, mods upon mods may break mods

That’s weak :stuck_out_tongue: .

Played Firearms: Source today… it still has so many bugs…

Try Derelict, if you haven’t yet… I think they added voice acting in it at some point, but the campaign is really well done.

Diablo II

APB Launcher :frowning:

My character got very pale and ended up getting…I dunno, wings(?) coming form their eyes. (like when people purposefully scar themselves in a pattern)

I’m not sure if it was from morality, or from killing things with magic. (I know killing with magic makes your tattoos glow, but don’t know if it does anything else)

Borderlands and Red Dead Redemption. Good times. A prostitute tried to steal my horse, so I figure this would be a good time to get the “Dastardly” achievement.

TF2, and cursed that the laptop I’m on atm can’t run shattered horizon

I tried Shattered Horizon and, while it’s cool, I’m terrible at it so I uninstalled it :retard: . Played Metro 2033 for a little bit and got to the chapter entitled “Ghosts” and quit because I was bored. Played Stalker: Clear Sky but kept dying since I wasn’t used to the gameplay. Currently playing Batman: Arkham Asylum.

I found Gordon Freeman in STALKER SOC!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Finished the second dungeon, now the awful path to the third one x.x

Borderlands. I finally managed to get my hands on it, and I’m actually enjoying it quite a lot. Its a good synergy between the core ideas of Bioshock/System Shock 2, Fallout 3/Oblivion, Far Cry 2 and Mad Max, and while it certainly isn’t the same as any of those, I think it surpasses them in different ways, especially the head exploding part. Haven’t tried multiplayer yet, and I still can’t quite understand how it fits into the game, but my brother assures me its definitely worth it.
