Borderlands would have been better if they’d left the mmo elements at just the weapon system. It would have been nice to have a world that seemed alive, rather than lots of static npc’s that have no other function than to give you quests.

Put my 45th hour into Fallout New Vegas…it’s been out less than 3 weeks and I almost have 2 full days of playtime.

got to the sarcophagus in Shadow of Chernobyl. kicked ass until the game decided to crap out and freeze.
Finally bought Mirror’s Edge and spent about 2 hours playing that.
There are definitely some issues. Certain combat situations have you completely outnumbered, sometimes it’s hard to find where to go in a stressful chase, and Faith can be so picky about which ledges she wants to grab onto at any given point… Overall, though, when you get into a flow it’s extremely addicting and well made. I’m definitely having fun.
Played some Hammer, some Dead Rising 2. Really great fun there, although it keeps trying to get me to care about the main characters.
I describe it as Diablo in a futuristic/FPS setting instead of a fantasy/isometric setting. Once you get to the max level, there’s not much to do aside from search for better gear. The co-op is fun though, I recommend you try it out with a friend or three.
