Nothing. I have hit a time where everything I can do is boring as hell. Anybody got any suggestions?
Try video games.
Played a lot of BC2 today, on the new maps.
ive played Half life 2 episode 2 portal half life 2 half life opposing force half life source today
Bought Dead Space for 5 Euro on Steam two days ago. So far I absolutely love the style and atmosphere, but it would still be a lot better if it was a FPS
Also I am amazed that it is uncensored
Mass Effect 2. Goddamn vanguard is fun. Lift, punch and repeat.
lol Germans
Minecraft again. Stumbled across a massive cave system I’ve been exploring. Further exploration has discovered 3 diamonds for a pickaxe, and at least 5 lava pools.
I’ll probably spend the next month mining Obsidian…
Some of the exciting game of Hammer. Why the hell do env_cubemaps make random brushes not render? I wan’t aware they did anything un-built.
Been Playing the Hell out of New Vegas here recently, reinstalled Ghostsbusters: The Video Game to see how it would run on my new GFX card. Runs like fuckin’ Clockwork. Tried to get into Claptrap’s Robot Revolution in Borderlands. Found out I cant fucking get past the first clearing in the Junkyard due to the Heavily Armed and armored Bandits that hang out in there,
Angry Birds.
As for me, I played 1187 Episode One, an Ep2 mod. It’s like Call of Duty: Resonance Kerfuffle. Takes all the shittiest elements of other shooters and crams them into the Half-Life universe as ‘features.’ I turned off almost all of them immediately as soon as I started playing. Still, it’s pretty ambitious. Damn hard, though: three shotgun shells to kill a houndeye? You’d best be joking…
Nothing yet, its only 10AM and I’m at work
But the last few days I’ve been playing that Greed Corp.
Not too bad, I’d advise giving it a shot if you like turn based games, its very simple to play but can get challenging. And the atmospheres good, nice music :3
Yeah, I’ve been playing this too. I’m up to Chapter 4, and apparently about to go through the least exciting part of the game (something about the ADS?). However, so far I’m finding it reasonably enjoyable; the PC port’s controls aren’t quite as good as they should be, and other third person shooters (such as Splinter Cell) feel much better. Its really not a horror game, though occasionally some of the faster zombie…things can make me a little concerned for my life.
The story is very System Shock 2, and the style is very similar. The whole concept of being alone on a space station, fighting off crowds off mutated crew members, being directed by a person somewhere else in the station, fixing various parts of the ship to ultimately complete a far off objective and being scared the entire time is very SS2/Bioshock, but Dead Space just isn’t as good.
However, that said, I like the whole limb amputation thing, and the combat itself I find quite polished and superior, in its own way, to what you ad to go through in SS2. The slow-down/kinectics thing is pretty good, but pretty much exactly the same as in other games.
tl;dr - Good, but nothing new. Play it, but don’t expect anything ground breaking.
Pro-tip to improve the Dead Space experience on PC: disable v-sync on the options. The game has a bug where having v-sync enabled will cause mouse lag, if you disable it, the lag is gone.
Anyway, I’ve finally been sinking a good amount of time into New Vegas. I love it, the quests are much more interesting than Fallout 3’s, the voice acting is far superior and the writing is much better. I still haven’t run into any noticeable glitches or bugs and so far I think the game is superior to Fallout 3.
Been playing Counter Strike: Source lately. It’s been quite some time, and I miss it.
Dead Space 2. Javelins, javelins everywhere. Also the forcegun is annoyingly crap.
Day was filled with some tiresome drawing for a faggot forum I frequent HMPH I WONDER WHICH ONE IT MIGHT BE so I only had a fun TF2 night with /bm/chat. I traded for green paint yay.
I wish I had the vigor to play some Hitman 2 right now, but I do feel tired.
Also do want Magicka.
Been replaying Dead Space 1 with a PS3 controller hooked to the PC using X360 gamepad emulation. lol
Started Castlevania: Lord of Shadows - aside from some issues with moving in a different direction when the camera angles change, it’s a really good game!! It’s also seriously hard, and it really tests your combat skills, pretty much from the third or fourth level you need to be blocking, dodging, mixing up direct and area attacks, balancing your health/magic levels against your focus meter…
I’m very glad I’d just played through Fable 3 mainly with melee combat, otherwise things would be harder than they already are!!
Bought, started, and won a round of Civ V. Culture victory is the only way to go!
