What are the most underrated games?

What are you favorite underrated games? I personally loved Folklore.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

I still want a sequel. :frowning:

Tron: Evolution. I liked that game even though everyone else hated it.

Pirates, Vikings & Knights II

Hopscotch, I know the hardware to play this is a little outdated, but it’s still a fun game.

Truthfully at this point? Halo Reach.
Seriously, the game gets so much shit for no reason at all.

This game (kinetica) is underrated as fuck.

This game looks amazing. I can’t find a copy for my life though:

lol, jk, but it would be kind of cool to own a game this bad (read: terriblyhorriblefailurethatmakesmeloosefaithinhumanity cries)

Real reply: Amnesia, Halo PC

Kinda reminds me of a crossover between Sonic Riders(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzqS7m0AhVs and JSRF(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAfLCJ4LulM&feature=related) On that note, sonic riders is my most underrated game. I spent god knows how many hours in that game, and i enjoyed every second.

The Thing.

Mercs 2.

Breakdown for xbox. I absolutely LOVE this game. It has the best fighting from a first person perspective ever. Most people are really turned off by the level design and story, but I think those things are easy to look past with how good the fighting is.

Black and White 2, it kills me whenever they release a new Fable

Vampire: The Masquerade

A great roleplaying experience
And the makers of E.V.E. Online are making an MMO based on it as well, World of Darkness, later this year.

Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA

Back in the day, I could’ve made a much better demo than this, but it’ll have to do.

Psychonauts.

SF Rush and Rush USA were I think the first racing games I played as a kid, loved them, no racing game since has been as fun

edit: can’t believe how dated that looks now

this.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, brilliant story, gameplay and graphics (for the time, which still look good today). Though to be fair, it’s one of those games that’s underrated because not many people seem to have played it.

Darkness (duh), Mechwarrior 4, Incoming, FF8 (yup, everything else was fucking gay), Armored Core, fucking Lego Rock Raiders, Streets of Rage (very first one), Rune, Wizardry 6-8 (mostly 8. Still hoping fro Sir-tech’s rebirth), Devil May Cry 2.

Metropolis Street Racer on Dreamcast, the spiritual precursor to the Project Gotham games. It was horrible when Bizarre Creations was closed down earlier this year. They were amoung the best.

Juiced. Maybe the career mechanics weren’t quite as good as other games, but the racing itself taught me some great basics of car control; no, really. It may have been a street racer but it got the driving physics perfect, not overly realistic, but with plenty of real life techniques. And I always thought the customisation was really good.
