About 3-4 months ago. Did Half Life on easy, the medium, then hard…then Opposing Force/Blue Shift/HL2/HL2:E1/HL2:E2 all on hard within a month or two.
Then found this place.

I played it first at eleven or twelve in 2001 or -2. One of my friends had this game Counter Strike that he’d boght in a pack with a few other games and showed it to me. I never liked it that much but asked to see the other games. Some game called Half Life and it’s expansions. Been playing ever since. It’s never scared me though…
19, the day it came out (in Canada). I’d heard about it about 3 months before the release date and followed it dutifully until it hit the shelves and I sure wasn’t disappointed. I remember how blown away I was by the presentation (particularly the NPC’s friendly and enemy alike).

Thanks. Actually played Portal over the winter holidays, which is how I heard about the Half Life world. Mainly played RTS/RPG games prior to that.
I was 24, when I played it about 6 months ago, I then made sure to play back through on medium, and once I finish up all the mods I’ve downloaded on medium difficulty, I’ll go back and do everything on hard.
Good grief. Every time I finish a mod though it feels like I stumble across a new one.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
