Came out about a week after my 11th birthday. I loved it, although it did scare me a bit, especially the Garg.
I played it when I was about 13… Since the only computer in our house was an Amiga, I played it on the PS2…

I buy my games in Czech Republic, if there is an english version, or I order games from Austria. The games from there are all uncut.

Yes, german gamers are poor bastards :fffuuu: didn’t you know that in the german version of half-life 1 you don’t fight against soldiers but against robots? here in germany everything is censored…games, films and they tried to forbid paintball. Because everyone who plays gory games etc. will become a person running amok.
Back to topic: I played Half-Life 1 when i was like 10 years old.
First played HL at an internet cafe because CS was broken on the PC I was using, but HL worked. I think I was around 12.

I played it when I was 7 back in 2002.
I played it when i was 8, in 1998. I the tentical and the garg scared me loads lol.
I wish my memory worked, but I know it was at least sometime around 2001-2 (I’d be 6-7 then) since I had to play through the demo levels 100 times before I finally got the game, for PS2 of course.
