"We've Got Hostiles!" Ideas.

Got any ideas or thoughts on “We’ve Got Hostiles!” Post 'em here!
These are some some of my thoughts.

1.at the beginning when you exit the elavator, you see a scientist banging on the Security station window, yelling about the silo door. Here, you could ru up to him and quickly tap use a few times and get him to follow you ruining the scripted sequence, and he could open the security door, you could kill him under the door, push the button, and skip the whole chapter. This shoyuldn’t be a possibility in the game and should be left out, as this makes no sense as he can open the door, open the silo door, and continue.

2.At the same time above, the gaurd in the security station gets attacked by a headcrab zombie. i think he should put up a slighty better fight( Like he pulls the zombie out a litle bit or mostly, then he gets pulled in.) The zombie should later appear outside, or in that vent in the end of the chapter, as the zombie along with the corpse or gone/missing.

3.The scientist in the security station should be either outside of the room or not there at all, as he isn’t in there at the start of the chapter, yet somehow, with no weapon whatsoever, makes it passed all the zombies, vorts, HECU, and others to get in that room.He/She should be either pasing by the station or something similar.

3: The devs have stated that they already have this situation well in hand.

I’m assuming they did fix that, seeing as how it was a bug in the original and the team is certainly not going to include any bugs or glitches in the game.

I agree with this part.

I seem to remember one of the devs saying that they will explain why the scientist is in there. I think it was before the crash though.

EDIT: Damn, ninja’d.

Okay. These all make sense. And sorry about 1., I didn’t think it was a bug/glitch. I thought it was a secret shortcut and that him killing himself was the consequence for not knowing. And thanks for using proper grammar, I thought aside from me the race that uses proper grammar was extinct.

And i did read the FAQ post before anything else. I always do.

to read the FAQ beforehand is very good of you, most idiot cockroaches don’t even bother to stop and consider that there may be one. morons.

Then you have my respect.

Someone give this man a cookie!

Cookie: perm=cpoubbjy05frx; ppag=ofgfetxates2y; __utma=252076895.230399533.1203452418.1206662143.1206663562.31; pico=av3dmxjfvqyer; pcss=yaxbss5y14rz1; tpag=ofgfetxates2y

Thats not the kind of cookie I was talking about and you know it.

Exactly… :stuck_out_tongue:

Here is your cookie:

lol, Thank you.

what was the topic,again?

Didn’t you graduate from ‘idiot cockroach’ status just a few posts ago? And weren’t you utterly failing, many times over, at posting images to various threads? Did you even stop and consider that the internet is full of guides and FAQs for uploading images, and for posting them to forums like this one?

Your hypocrisy astounds me, and to see someone so very clearly on the bottom of the heap being arrogant and attempting to look down on others is highly amusing. Unless this is all just self-deprecating irony and joking on your part, which would be a relief.

Yeah, damn those cockroaches! Bug scum!

right into bull eye raw_bean.

Do I get a cookie? :frowning: Not even a welcome cookie?

I looked in the FAQ, it doesn’t mention welcome cookies.

I’ve always thought for that scene, you’ll come out of the vent, see him outside banging on the glass, and open the security door for him. After you let him in, he would give his monologue, and allow you to continue on your merry way.

Well, I’ve always taken from that scene that he was always in there. You can’t see the entire room through the glass. He could be hiding out of sight while the guard was (unsuccessfully) attacking the duct monster. Why didn’t he open the silo door for you or the other scientist? Because “I refuse to go another step!” or “I’m afraid to move.”

Stupid scientists.

Scientist could be hiding inside a utility closet oblivious to the events outside until Freeman gets him out of there.
