"We serve the same mystery"

…I think he was talking about Eli dying… which is why the message was to him…

well, also could be the borealis because Mossman’s message showed an expedition at the artic. It could be a message for Eli but the Combine got the transmission before. After all, he knew what the borealis means: ‘‘No, Another Black Mesa no…’’ -Eli.

I don’t think the G-Man was talking about Eli’s death. He said “unforseen consequences”. What was the advisors attacking a consequence of? Except maybe closing the portal, but everyone would have died anyway if it hadn’t been closed.

Also, I seriously doubt Lamarr is dead. I’d bet money on her randomly turning up again in Ep3.

just as how she came back after being teleported in hl2.

Exactly.

Lamarr is in space right now. Kleiner says that there is a weight anomaly in the rocket before they fire it & it’s not caused by the gnome. Magnusson says that the anomaly is “within tolerance” which is half-life for “shit is about to go horribly wrong.” Not long AFTER this is said, Magnusson also says that if anything does go wrong, the best they can hope is that the rocket lands on the combine. I think it’s safe to assume that the rocket will crash at some point in ep3, and that Lamarr will come out unscathed.

^ absolute genius!

Then the epic rescue mission & shiny gameplay element:retard: will come in next.

+SPOLIER+ quotation for the OP’s sake right?

I finished the game a few weeks ago.

Prepare for unforseen consequences, probably the potential for another resonance cascade on the Borealis. It could be a close reference to the Unforseen Circumstances level in the original HL.

Nah, unless there was a whole other alien borderworld… not likely.

Gee, you really think so? Wow, you’re smart.

Well no one else seemed to notice it, but thanks Jeff I feel much better now I have your vote of confidence.

Also, it’s spelt unforeseen. And the chapter in HL was also called Unforeseen Consequences.

So it was lol.

Hah, do you like shooting people down?:meh:

(Well, this is embarassing to have to explain…)
I was being sarcastic, because it being a reference to the chapter is kinda obvious, seeing as they’re the exact same words and all. :hmph:

uhm hello? combine controlled planets? Combine empire Main planet? Doesn’t those count as borderworlds?

Xen crystals EVERYWHERE  wait… Xen… Teleportation… <Jigsaw
[COLOR=‘Black’]YOU DONT GET IT DO YOU?

no, those are other worlds, Xen was a borderworld

or something
