I already voted for them, too! Zynga only has that big chance to win because it developes these damn apps in Facebook and there are far more Facebook user than Half-Life gamer. Zynga sucks!>

Don’t worry, I’m going to stop posting these annoying updates either when that number hits 500 or when I pass out.
Being on facebook doesnt mean they will vote for Zygna. In fact, I have a facebook and I’m voting for Valve.Modt Facebookers probably dont even know about March Mayhem.
+393… And the reason the Facebook apps are big push for Zynga is that anybody who has used them can easily be messaged and given a link to vote for them by logging into The Escapist through their Facebook account. If they all had to actually take the effort to make a separate account at Escapist, they would have lost much earlier on.
Oh my god… I just went on to the Farmville forums… Their members are totally pissed about their campaigning method! A good portion are voting Valve either because they understand that Zynga really doesn’t deserve to win a competition with the words “best” and “Developer” near eachother, or because they want the spam to go away quicker! Way to have a loyal fanbase, Zynga. Only the addicts (although there are far too many of them) are being crazy about it.
Er, Accidental double post.
and… VLV +345
Double post within 6 minutes. Well done.
I’m slow, gimme a break. I thought the “Quick Reply” bar was another post for some reason, I’m just that dyslexic at 3:13 in the morning ish.
Valve is up by 1%, and I’m out. Hopefully that percent will still be there when I wake up in the morning.
This is hilarious, voters who until now had stayed on the other side of the semifinals (Bliz v Bioware) are coming over and tossing their votes against Zynga.
Seriously, if any of those 3 end up in the finals, I’m sure they’d be happy to either of the others than lose to Zynga.
justice! finally!
Valve can’t lose to a fb game.
Oh, and…

Experience increased!
This whole thing, is ALMOST as fun as EXPERIENCEQUEST!
I’ve been playing for FIFTEEN HOURS straight, haven’t paused once, or stopped killing things, except to sell my loot! And i just downloaded it FIFTEEN HOURS ago! I’m already level 20!
Oh, and almost a whole 2% gap! UPDATE:
Of these four, these final four… ONE does not belong. One has used its brain-washed minions to claw and grope its way up the ranks, taking down those more worthy of success. But now the time has come. Together, the worthy three shall strike down this whore of a combatant, which is built upon the deception of it’s subjects, and hopefully… Succeed. Only two things are important in this competition: That this cheap, corrupt, deprave, and despicable combatant… Must. Not. Succeed. And that the title goes to any one of the worthy three.
ahhhahahah The Spammers lose! … i hope
It’s funny, really… a good number of the ‘hardcore’ zynga-game players (ie: ones who have accounts on their forums understand that zynga is NOT a better game developer than Valve. Too bad Zynga’s not counting on them… It’s counting on the newblets.
45000+ votes in the Zynga/Valve poll.
18000+ votes in the Bioware/Blizzard poll.
Something feels… imbalanced.
OMGLMAO! Some woman banned her kids from Zynga games till all the adverts for this stupid poll go away. She voted valve, btw.
@Bolteh, it’s called unity of purpose, a beautiful thing.
Now if only that happened more often in real life…
VALVE ARE WINNING XD
Story so far…
Zynga calls in its hordes.
Zynga sicks its hordes on opponents.
Zynga reaches final four.
Zynga’s minions hit Valve.
Supporters of Infinity Ward, Blizzard, Bioware, Square Enix, and just about every other developer represented in this contest come to the aid of Valve.
Valve is in the lead.
As for what happens next… As long as Zynga doesn’t win, I think it would be absolutely fine for Valve to fall second to either of the other possible finalists, but of course even better if they won outright.
Oh, and…

The Cavary has arrived! Onward my brothers and sisters! Today! Victory shall be ours! We’ve been pounded, and hit hard by the mindless mongers of Zynga! They thought they beat us! They Thought they could make off with our women and children! Well I say Nay! I Refuse to fall! With our allies of Blizzard, Bioware, and many others! The advantage is now ours! Victory is in our grasp! Let us take it and destroy these heretics! The Zynga! Charge forth!! For Valve! For Honor!
(Sorry, I had the idea of a really inspirational speach and this is the best I could come up with off the top of my head.)
I’d say the real gamers did their part and pulled together to allow this victory… And looking at the trend on the Twitter page… It’s gonna be a win by at least 10 or 15 percent.
There’s like 15 @steam_games for every @zynga. And those don’t get counted till some time after 12:00PM (noon) EST [that’s five hours and fifteen minutes from now].
I think all the little zynganublets stayed up late last night voting and ranting, and aren’t going to be able to wake up early enough to make a difference today.
EDIT: Oh shit, I spoke too soon, the gap is closing again. Earlier it was up to a 5%, now it’s back down to a 4% gap…
EDIT: ooooohhhhh crrrrrrraaaaaapp theeeeyy’rrree waaakiing UUUUUUUUUP!!!
We can still win, Remember. We have the advantage. we cannot lose hope, for it is essential for our victory. Would you have them mock us? Say their games are better when they’re clearly not? Waking up or not, it’s still a battle we can win!
I refuse to bow down to them, Gordon Freeman did not bow to the combine, He did not bow to the HECU. He didn’t even bow to Breen. He did not give up, even when the chances were stacked against him! And He will not bow to Zynga! We just have to keep pushing and we will win! We must win! and show Zynga their place at the bottum of the food chain. Who’s with me!
