Yeah, but Xennians is more precise.
Let’s call them martians.
:derp:
EDIT: WUT! NO DERP SMILEY!!!
Then you might get them confused with the Combine. But yes.
martians are from mars, they are from somewhere and lived in xen to scape from the combine, also I think there are creatures wich come from xen like bullsquids and how the vorts, etc are living now on xen we can call them Xenians without any problem.
also if ya call them alien ppl can think is an alien from alien vs predator
seeing as how they’re not from xen, no, no it is not. :retard:
:what:
LoL come on ya didn’t understand nothin’?
i think Bolteh was sarcastic?
I know, I just wanted to make it funnier
Aliens aren’t from that fucking abomination kid.
Alien and Predator were once two RESPECTABLE and SEPERATE franchises. Now with this spinnoff shit it’s just a fucking money grabbing scheme. Robert rodriguez and Ridley scott had better do a damn good job on the next A/P (not avp) movies.
Ontopic, if all the xen creatures are under combine controll, why’d the visual style completely change from HL1 to 2? Style =/= graphical quality btw.
It would be cool for the BM xenians to hae more of the grey metallic combine look, but it’s probably too late to… wait… Fuck that!
opening up the texture in photoshop and messing with some levels (on masked out metal pards) ain’t that bad… But they’ve made their choice.
^ The Alien Grunt’s armour kind of looks like the Combine metal. Or near enough for speculation.
I don’t think it was ever said all the Xen creatures were under combine control, just the vortigaunts/alien grunts/controllers/Nihilianth. Of those, only the alien grunts appeared to have any Combine modifications to them, and any stylistic differences between them and the Combine elements seen in HL2 could be for any number of reasons, such as physiological differences, differences due to the time at which they were modified, etc, etc.
None of the Xen creatures were under Combine control in HL1. They were hiding out on Xen from the combine when they invaded earth, if I remember correctly.
I originally hailed from Baltimore but I moved to Seattle. Since the aliens moved to Xen, why can’t they be called Xenians in the same manner that I’m now a Seattleite?
Wasn’t the Nihilanth on the run from the Combine, and they (they being the Nihilanth, Vortiguants, Alien Grunts, and Alien Controllers) settled on Xen? I thought somebody from Valve had confirmed that. I have no source, though, so I might be wrong.
Also, if what I remember is true, then danielsangeo is right and we should refer to them as Xenians (I think Xenians is more correct than Xennians, but that’s just me. I like “zeen-ee-an” more than “zen-ee-an”.).
^It’s like the Draenei from Warcraft.
Sorry my bad they r called xenians without the second N
