Very Realistic Episode 3 Screen Shot

Lollipop, you even fail at trolling people.
.

Was I trolling? I only troll for money.

Whore troll :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually the facepalm was probably due to the fact that “matte painting” is an actual painting method (you know, the stuff what some people do with brushes), not a program.
It would be a bit “funny” to paint the textures of such a big game by hand, eg. from the aspect of time and costs…

BTW some time there was another “screenshot” around of “HL3”, that was a photoshopped image of the Moscow Underground tunnels

In response to that… Borderlands Textures were all hand made for the sake of “Alternative graphics” as they so kindly put it (personally I find it looks like fancy cell shading).

I thought it looked more interesting than the original bland art direction (although it does kind of hurt my eyes)

I lol’d.

Dunno… It does look like cell-shading… :stuck_out_tongue:

But this is hand-painted: https://machinarium.net/demo/

When I become rich I’m gonna hire 10 000 painters to paint me a super realistic video game they’re gonna paint it frame by frame as I’m playing at about 5 FPS.

Lol! His comprehension level will affect how he reads that article to indeed confirm that “Matte Painting” is in fact a rendering program :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve lol’d for 10 strait min. I’ve seen this on satelite and he’s awesome

Oh dear…

Don’t worry, if he is a troll, i will feed on him. :jizz:

You feed on dat troll Eric.

You gentlemen do know that matte colours can be rendered in source already with some
.vmt and texture editing. Not quite a painting but matte all the same.

This is matte painting? if it`s not could you get lost? it was not my idea it was cman2k who said that HL3 screenshot was made with matte painting

HAHHAHAHAHA
