Very Realistic Episode 3 Screen Shot

well its most likely fake but i found this to be a very good fake

That says “Half-Life 3”, not “episode 3”.

that picture is older than episode one.

Yeah it’s ancient. Plus you can tell it’s fake if you have the power of thought.

What a badly designed HUD.

Yes, very old. It’s just a picture of a guy holding a crowbar with some movie backdrop added to it.

epic amounts of fail if you honestly have the mind to think of that as episode 3 media

It’s a matte painting from a concept artist, Chris Thunig.

oh hay guys, welcome to 2005

Yeah, that’s the running joke here, Coll.

Cool story bro

I believe its

And the pic LazySunday posted actually looks really good. I know its not a real screenshot, but for a fanmade thing, it looks awesome.
…unless its a screenshot of Black Mesa?

OMG ITS A… rants away

That depends on what your definition of “awesome” is.

and why you don`t work with matte painting to get Black Mesa a more realistic aspect? seems to be an advanced program will be used in episode three? Valve working with such program? you could introduce some new features if it fits and think that will be much attractive

…yeah I’m sure valve is definitely incorporating “matte painting” into the next source engine update.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
