How is that being safe? How is fish any “better” than meat?
more importantly, how is fish meat “not” meat?
That too. I hate how people differentiate between fish and meat. Some even differentiate between chicken, fish and meat.
not to say there isn’t a difference between the three, but its all meat.
Yeah, that’s what I was getting at too.
That it is annoying.
“You vegeterian? I don’t eat meat either, only fish.”
:hmph:
I believe those that eat fish are called pescitarians.
Then they should stop calling themselves vegeterians.
You tell 'em, buddy!
lol how the heck eating a fish is not considered meat eating ?
I eat meat and vegetables. I do not each many grain, legumes, potatoes or milk. If we want to talk about what is natural for our human bodies then we should eat what the paleo man ate. Our bodies are not adapted to cow milk, grains etc… And thus we see the rising problems of celiac disease and diabetes.
As for those who call meat production unethical, I am fortunate to live in Minnesota very close to many ethical and organic farms and butchers. They are available, look for them. I also hunt deer every fall , providing much of my meat for the year.
Enjoy the mercury poisoning.
A whole lot of bullshit about only red meats being classified as actual meat and fish not feeling pain.
[color=darkorange]Technically I eat both, but the only vegetables I can stand are corn potatoes and some forms of processed tomatoes, anything else makes me physically sick just to even smell. And honestly I couldn’t give a fuck what they put in the animals while they are alive as long as they taste good and make mai boobs bigger. <.<
makes your boobs bigger ?!
I’m a vegetarian because I don’t agree with the practices of the meat industry. I was a vegan but I decided I could at least be a little bit hypocritical and eat eggs/milk if it meant I could survive (because vegan food is expensive).
The “difference” in meat was created via religion. Catholics describe meat as being the muscle of a land animal, which was all they could except fish, because Jesus blah blah fish blah blah water blah blah fucking blah who gives a god damn?
The only difference between them is that people look for a reason to absolve themselves and give meaning to their otherwise worthless lives.
Also: you can’t be both a vegetarian and a meat-eater. vegan means you eat no animal products of any kind and supplement your diet with plant-matter, vegetarian means you eat no meat, but still eat plant rennet cheese and eggs. If you’re a “meat eater” you have the typical human diet which is 50-70% meat 30-50% vegetables.
I’d say my diet is only about 10% meat.
So like, what, you eat two slices of ham a day and call it quits after that?
