Valve's Next Game

:retard:

Hell yeah!

And the L4D1 DLC as well.

Not to mention various TF2 updates.

Engie update is the first to come.

Source Engine 2 would be awesome. :stuck_out_tongue:

In a total surprise move, Valve release the next part of Minerva, after making it an official Valve product. On second thought, probably not…

Even less likely, they hire FakeFactory and force him to make some decent hi-res Alyx models opposed to the shit he’s released in the past.

The TF2 engine is Source Engine 14.

FakeFactory is a terrible douchefag with terrific skills.

Counter Strike 2 would piss me off the most, it’s the only game that I absolutely have to buy, no matter the price.

:awesome:

It really is. :hmph:

I’m looking forward to Portal 2 and Ep3.
If Valve do Counter Strike 2, that would be awesome, especially with the engine update.

If they made the gameplay less generic too, that would be great.

I know… I meant a totally new engine.

VALVe have already said it’s better for them and the mod community to carry on evolving Source rather than making a completely new engine from scratch.

They’re managing wonders with what they have. Source is one of the longest standing and most reliable/stable engine in a while. And they’ve upgraded the crap out of it, without TOTALLY killing system reqs.

Personally, for their next game: Portal 2 or Ep3.
We haven’t seen a TF2 update in like… longer than usual, so I’d bet we might see a bit of a speeding up on that over the summer months. I know it’s not a game, but I bet a good portion of their focus will go to that over summer. More newblets with money buying games.

And regarding the source engine, for the money I spent on the Orange Box, I have gotten hundreds of hours (probably close to, if not over, a thousand. I have very little of a life over summer beyond my job) of UNIQUE game-play out of it due to the mod-ability.

The only TF2 update which I think they did perfectly was the Pyro, his are very useful if you have them and can use them, and they aren’t a huge annoyance from the other persons perspective either. Pretty much perfectly done, but the rest of the updates are just a bit shit. :expressionless:

Anyways, I’m hoping they release the new Portal game next, I’m excited to see how they intend to carry on the story. Hope they give the story a bit more length this time though.

I didn’t hear anything whatsoever about the fabled left 4 dead 3…that only misinformed fools would believe.

They would never do another counter-strike. they would wait for a new engine completely or never again…I know valve and their trends.

Engie and Engine update. :awesome:

Valve do not have predictable trends… I personally would like to see improvements to lighting and weather effects in the source engine…

If they upgrade the lighting so that it looks like it does in all of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Games, I will jizz.

Well, I’ll at least jizz when I get a good enough computer to run it

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
