i remember seeing somewhere that someone from Valve said that they wont release L4D3 or something in the next few years (i’m guessing at least until 2012).

and whoever said they should fire the marketing team… well, do you remember the way they announced Portal 2?
i personally think it was one of the best game marketing campaigns, like, ever.

and my guess is that there is no guess, there’s no way we can predict what they will do, but obviously, there’s a limited number of options:

  1. L4D3 [don’t think so, Valve are not stupid, they won’t release three parts of a serie in a row, they know what the fans think…]
  2. HL:EP3 [maybe, the wait was very very long, but it will take all the builded hype from portal 2
  3. HL3 (and source 2 ) [don’t think so, or they’ll say it will come out in, like, 2030]
  4. A new game\series [maybe, but, again it will take all the hype from P2]
    and that’s about it… none of the above seems completly legit, so we can only wait…

… but i’m 90% sure it will kick a handfull of asses!

I’m quite interested in what this surprise is. When Valve hypes something up like this, you know damn well it’s going to be good.

Come on guys, you should already know that blue has a way of magically missing any information in a thread that doesn’t make him rage.

We’ve been over this, buy out is nearly impossible for a wide variety of reasons.

When they’re talking of the “surprise,” they use Portal type jargon, so it may just be something cool about P2.

If not, they might show some kind of early demo of EP3 like they did with HL2.
