Tough Songs for Audiosurf

Hope I posted this in the right place…

I was playing Audiosurf this afternoon (mostly lame songs like Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder On The Dancefloor and cough Britney Spears cough), when I realized I don’t have that many… red songs, or songs with a high in-game traffic congestion. I guess I’m a coward, and besides my lappie lags a lot when I play :frowning: So I was wondering if you guys know any particular song that’s interesting to play there

The hardest songs I’ve played so far are Scooter’s The Logical Song, with a traffic congestion of 307, and Turmion Kätilöt’s U.S.C.H!, with a nice traffic congestion of 314. Maybe they don’t sound so difficult to play, but they surely gave me a headache.

Any other suggestions for fellow Audiosurf players to rage at? :stuck_out_tongue:

DragonForce- Through the Fire And Flames
The Black Mages: J-E-N-O-V-A (Final Fantasy VII)
The Black Mages: Those Who Fight Further (Final Fantasy VII)

Real men dodge greys.

I found RATM songs worked quite well.

They’re all tough if you’re bad at it, like me.

Has anyone tried music from Quake II? I imagine some of those would be pretty hard.

any of the songs from Jet Set Radio Future (Look it up) might tire your fingers quickly

My friend plays all the Killing Floor music, it was pretty hard I guess.

game owns but those ssongs will tire your ears first,.

Or your trigger finger, if the first bullet into your cranium doesn’t work.

4 minutes 33 seconds by John Cage.

Still haven’t been able to beat it. Look it up.

Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow by Bullet For My Valentine… My friend found a Phantom of the Opera techno remix that was beyond comprehension but I don’t know where he found it.

Phantom of the Opera is just a rip-off of Echoes!

Audiosurf tricks: Enabling Iron Mode makes Audiosurf quite a bit crazier. There are more blocks on the track, your ship moves faster and there are more rolls and more hazards and penalties.

In addition to that, add [as-steep] to the ID3 tag of the mp3 to make Audiosurf react more to the music.

That’s the best way to play. [as-steep] Iron Mode. Add [as-swind] if you’re a real masochist - it enables Sidewinder mode where the track moves horizontally rather than vertically.

let me guess, you’re a fan of guitar hero?

anything by Necrophagist will own you.

Earthless

Path to Vanir - Enslaved

Always seemed pretty tough for me, though it’s been a while since I played the 'surf. I just remember it having a seemingly impossible amount of grey blocks combined with the countless changes in tempo/timing.

The Phantom Of The Opera will rape you.

Hopefully this is the version that I got. It sounds like it.

youtube downloader FTW.

As a matter of fact, I have never played guitar hero, nor do I give a shit about rock band or any other game with instumental peripherals.

Rustey Cooley - Under The Influence

You can try some Blotted Science if you irregular music and really strange music

Glitch and noise tracks with irregular timestamps and stuff also fuck me over on the dodging gray blocks mode.
