Top 5 Favorite Games

wow, that’s hard! umm…

Psychonauts
Minecraft
(if no HL then) Portal
Warcraft III
World Of Goo? idunno

It’s weird, I just saw and interview with the lead of the Torment team (his name escapes me) and he seemed pretty ambivalent about the game. He even said he thought Fallout 2 was much better. I couldn’t disagree with him more.

I almost got the impression that he wasn’t aware just how esteemed PS:T is among hardcore gamers and was still just disappointed with the sales.

1- System Shock 2
2- Unreal
3- Deus Ex
4- Quake
5- Chronicles of Riddick EFBB

Yep that’s it.

If there was a sixth position, it would be Half life. Otherwise, no.

Good list, but I’m a little curious why you picked Unreal. Is it a nostalgia thing, or do you really love it that much? When I go back and play game like Quake, Jedi Knight, or Half Life I still have a blast, but Unreal not so much.

Escape from Butcher Bay is a great game that I don’t often see in these lists. Nice.

Superman 64? :retard:

That game can go to hell :fffuuu:

  1. Morrowind
  2. Halo CE
  3. Left 4 Dead
  4. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
  5. Counter-Strike 1.6

Mass Effect 1/2
Gamepaly is the best ever

FEAR 1
Made me scream like no other game

DOOM 3
Really cool story and was scary

Alien vs Predator 2
Cool story and gameplay

Crysis
Mainly because of graphics but gameplay was good to

It´s pretty hard to choose 5 out of all those great games…

No particular order:
Final Fantasy 6/7, can´t decide
Metal Gear (whole series)
Castlevania (the first one)
StarCraft (all of them)
Team Fortress 2 (first multiplayer-only game I´ve ever liked)

  1. Team Fortress 2
  2. Oblivion
  3. Minecraft
  4. Portal
  5. Tag: The Power of Paint
  1. Streets of Rage
  2. MGS2
  3. Diablo 2
  4. Comix Zone
  5. Mechwarrior 4

In that particular order.

Honourable Mentions
-The Darkness, Commandos 2, Red Alert 2, RTCW, Q3A, Max Payne, S.T.A.L.K.E.R SoC, Devil May Cry 1/2

that’s more than 5 games, stupid.

An impossible task but I’ll just throw some good games.

Crash Team Racing because it is endlessly entertaining.
Squaresoft Final Fantasy games (SquareEnix what have you done?)
Dawn of War: Soulstorm mainly because it’s the best LAN game ever.
The Witcher 1 because the second one didn’t have enough HC fantasy and sex like the first one.
And either Fallout 3 or HL2. Can’t decide.

This is really hard, because my 5 top favourite games are all by Valve. (And 3-4 of them are Half-Life titles.)

  1. Mortal Kombat
  2. Quake
  3. Doom
  4. Starcraft
  5. Battle Toads
  1. Super Mario World
  2. The Legend of Zelda
  3. Metroid
  4. Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
  5. Super Mario Kart
  1. Doom
  2. Freespace 1/2
  3. System Shock 2
  4. Unreal Tournament 99/2004
  5. Mass Effect series

Sorry, this is just too hard, NEED to put another 2 in, feel too guilty else!

  1. Dues Ex (Yet to play human revolution ‘yet’)
  2. X Wing / Tie Fighter

What’s with you people listing more than 5 games?

  • Metal Gear Solid 4
  • World in Conflict
  • Halo: Reach
  • Minecraft
  • Battlefield 2142

Kind of hard narrowing it down to a top 5, even without HL-titles.
Going with an “actual hours of my life i have spent playing the game”-approach instead.

  1. Red Faction 1
  2. GTA SA (if it’s the whole GTA-series it would probably take the #1 spot)
  3. Crash Team Racing (recently sat down and completed adventure 100% on the ps3, had never done that before…)
  4. Pokemon Blue/Yellow for the Pocket. (Quite possibly higher…)
  5. Diablo 2 or GTA 2

Close:
Europa Universalis 3, Team Fortress 2, C&C: Tiberian Sun, Madden '07 & '11, Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 & Wario Land 2…

What is it with you people and posting on a thread that has had no activity for almost a year?

After Half Life:
1)Max Payne 1 and 2
2)GTA(Liberty City and Vice City)
3)Scarface:The world is yours
4)Rise of Nations
5)Call of Juarez

It’s not because they’re good but because in some way they touched me. Maybe it was because of the time when I played them.

Necroposting in a previously revived thread. Interesting.
