As for torrent, I made a suggestion awhile ago about releasing password-protected archives of the mod like a week before “actual release” to alleviate some of the post-release download crunch, which a lot of other big indy projects do, but it was completely ignored iirc :frowning:

im new here and i read some pages of this thread.
i know its april 1st so i ask you: do you mean what you write?
cause when i see posts like
" On a rail, 'nuff said"
or “that flooded room blabalbalblabla”
i begin to think that most of you guys came to this mod by HL2, not Half Life.
As a Half Life nerd (first time i finished it i was ~11) i dont understand how somebody who played and knows HL doesnt want to see some rooms or even whole chapters in the remake?! i mean ITS A REMAKE…

so my opinion is :

I dont want to see anything that DOESNT belong to Half-Life and I dont want to see some good old nostalgic stuff replaced by something new.
(examples…: that room … that fckin blue-shift-weapon(model)s …

The Weapons in Blue Shift are the same as in Half-Life, what you mean is the High Definition Pack for Half-Life.
