Hm. I’m trying to identify the type/genre of music being played duringthis portion of the Project Awakened UE4 Tech demo so I can find more of that kind of music.
Any ideas?

Hum, is that even a genre? It isn’t really Classical, and it sounds just like the end music of many games, like Mass Effect 2… If you find out, lemme know
On a different topic, OH MY GOD THE MOSQUITOS. Every day I wake up with at least 3 new bites. I must have really tasty blood…
I’ve also got a shit-ton of mosquito bites. It’s weird, since we normally don’t get very many of them here… Maybe it’s just because of monsoon season.
On the bright side, living here seems to have helped me get over my fear of bugs and spiders, at least until the next time one of those giant fucking millipede elder gods shows up.
i smoke… dont get stoned
i drink… dont get drunk
… i get sick from too much drinking though
i thought a durum would help but it’s jst making me feel worse
ughhhh i dont feel anything
uggghhh except sick
Are you usually unable to get stoned/drunk?
I’m thinking about buying F.E.A.R. on Steam’s Summer Sale ($4.99). Yea or nay?
Definitely yes. One of the best fps games ever.
So apparently they just teased a Warcraft movie at Comicon, but they’re refusing to release the trailer online. FFS.
Purchased, downloading.
EDIT: Played through into part of the “Escalation” chapter. First thoughts: Wish there were more scares and less mowing through nondescript military baddies. Like the fact that I can see my body, the body’s shadows on the walls and the reflection of the body in puddles and such. I’ll reserve judgment on the game itself, however, until I finish the game. For now, sleep.
Back from Spain and I have a song in my head that I need to find now.
It’s a non-English song meant for children (or at least sounds like it) and it follows a pattern like this: some spoken words or short sentences followed by a catchy refrain that sounds like “cushi-wa, cushi-wa, cushi-wa-wa-wa”.
Anyone got an idea?
Is it in Spanish? I don’t think I remember a song like that. You’d need to record yourself singing
Unless it’s this one (or this) that my Girl Scouts group used to dance…
It’s that one! Mucho gracias!
Graag gedaan!
I would definitely say that it is worth $4.99, but I wouldn’t call it one of the best ever. The level design is very repetitive, the textures are incredibly same-y (from what I remember so many years ago that I played it), most of the “scares” are underwhelming.
There was a line said very early in the game that put me at ease during all of the following “scare sequences” in the game, until the last five or ten minutes. I was terrified for the entire end sequence, and I had Godmode turned on for the last third of the game.
It is so worth seeing the end of the game. Even if you need to cheat through the rest of everything to get to it. You have the play through the end of the game. It is one of the best endings when it comes to gameplay.
Yeah, definitely worth $5, also agree with the rest of your assessment. It never really scared me, but that could just be me, I don’t get scared by fiction very quickly at all.
Yeah, have been for about a year now. Pretty much since I approached rock bottom in my depression.
A couple months ago we baked some special cookies (and there was enough in it, trust me), and I was the only one who didn’t feel a damn thing (while I paid for the special ingredient).
It’s like I actively block every kind of feeling I could possibly have, except sadness and social discomfort.
nah you probably just self medicated yourself into a stupid high tolerance. itll go away if you are able to take a break for a bit. sucks that youre in a bad way man, you seem like one of the coolest people in this weird corpse of a forum
Only the first game and arguably the unofficial Sierra expansions are worth it. F.E.A.R. 2 was rather average in almost every way, and F.3.A.R. was an abomination that should never have existed.
Do get the original Condemned- it’s one of the scariest games I’ve ever played.
Criminal Origins is also pretty terrifying.
yeah true for the weed, but i really dont drink that much, i just seem to go from sober to so wasted i feel sick and start having blackouts at random
and heh, thanks, you’re pretty cool too
so…I’ve been watching a couple of TV-series and a couple of movies which has incest scenes in them, yeah it’s acting after all and a fictional story, but something bothers me, is it okey in these days to watch and accept incest as a normal thing in our lives ?
and yes take it as a serious note
