Meanwhile, Christmas Eve in Belgium:
looks wet
Well damn
I hope everyone has a happy holiday!
merry politically correct holiday season
You sure thatâs not the Netherlands?
Damn, Belgium is really flat.
It looks really weird. Almost unreal.
They donât call it the low countries because of its huge mountainous outcrops, you know.
Anything higher than 10m with more than a 3% slope is exotic to me.
Anything less than a mountain covered in pines some hundred meters away from the road freaks me out.
Flat terrain is seriously scary, less protection against zombies and other invading forces.
Actually, flat areas are more easily defensible, particularly if youâre on a rise. If thereâs hills nearby it gives your enemy somewhere to hide and fire on you from.
Iâve actually heard the complete opposite, mostly because youâll always get the high ground, which is ideal in every defense.
It doesnât really matter if the enemy can hide behind corners anyway, because if theyâre going to attack, theyâll have to come running at you sooner or later.
Also, the invading forces canât use horses or vehicles. Not really connected to zombies any more, but, just saying.
Mountain terrain 4 lyfe
If you donât change 4000 ft (1220 m) in elevation on your commute to work, youâre a lightweight.
33 foot up and then 29 feet down for my way to work (29 feet up then 33 feet down on the way back). 1.5 mile walk each way. Good exercise.
Merry Christmas my good sirs.
Itâs snowing outside, and I am home alone for the holiday. Iâm bored, and I want people to talk toâŚ
What would you like to talk about?
