The Unofficial Official Chat Thread

Okay, fair enough.

I just remembered I had a similar conversation with a very good friend of mine about that kind’ve shit too about 4-5 years ago. He kept spazzing out about the whole situation.

Basically in a nut shell he was debating whether or not to break up with his girlfriend. I casually told him to do it if he wanted to. He ended up doing it and really beat himself up about it. Still it just shows you how important good people are in your life.

That’s what you called your outburst in the Rage topic? :expressionless:

Jokes aside, yeah. You’re right, it’s what some of us do on a forum, or hell even on a social network. Facebook and Twitter’s the modern fucking diary for the individual now. Case and point: I posted in the rage topic that I was seriously pissed a couple of weeks ago, and I rarely get to the kind of rage (it’s not erage you typically encounter, it’s one of those awkward “oh shit get the fuck out of their way” kind of rages) and I actually posted this on my facebook:

May 3rd, 9:43 PM. It was after a long night of gaming on one of my favorite multiplayer games (Fortress Forever)… in short some prick pissed me off to that point, he actually rage quit and changed servers after an admin told him to knock it off. I don’t feel like sharing the details again.

Anything coming from a computer should never get you to that point. I speak from experience but of course anyone here will say the same. Good thing you recognized it and took steps to regroup yourself.

^ It’s a long story, but I agree with you. It’s trivial, but it’s something that gets on my nerves and I have an extremely short fuse when it comes to disrespect, especially when it’s directed at me. I mean, I don’t mind a joke, but there’s a fine line between those two.

Anyways, I stopped playing not long after I got to that point, I was simmering for about an hour before I boiled over, posted a rant on the server’s forum (that I promptly regret doing after I calmed down) and then preceded to shadow box for about an hour before calling it a night.

Calm down fuck face.

I’ll have you know that there’s only one Fuck Face.

(Look at the base of the bat. No, that’s not a 'shop.)

oh my god he left the dagger… idiot!

Just moved into a new office this afternoon. I’ve got my own cubicle now.

I might also be getting a fat raise. Awwww yisss.

And here I sit, waiting for a reply that probably isn’t coming, and if it does it probably won’t be good :frowning:

I am so envious of you right now it’s not even funny.

fuck you

im not even kidding

I get like 12 Mbps download and maybe 3 Mbps upload…

:hmph:

6 and 2

1 or less, both ways for home internet, and 1000ms+ ping. FUCK YOU ALL.

My dad told me to exercise twice as long as the time I spend on the computer every day. I’m not even anywhere near fat (funnily enough, my dad is kinda fat)

How much exercise do I really need to stay healthy anyway?

unless you’re one of those people who only eats processed fats and sugars, you don’t actually need a whole lot of exercise to stay healthy

people in hunter gatherer societies don’t have any more exercise than a typical office worker and they’re healthy

Define healthy. Healthy as in “my body isn’t lacking any nutrition” or healthy as in “I need to be able to run half a marathon in case there’s a zombie invasion”?

For the former: no exercise needed, just a healthy balanced died.

A normal person roughly burns about 10 calories per pound by just being alive. So if you weigh about 170 pounds, you’ll burn roughly 1700 calories a day without moving an inch. If you weight 130 pounds, 1300 calories and so on.

Your body will burn calories first. If no direct calories are available, it will simply go burn fat (fat = calories that have not been burned yet).

Knowing this, it’s super easy to gain, lose or stay on weight (I lost roughly 75 pounds in a year without going on one of those “no x, y or z” diet). The biggest trick is getting the nutrition right. Your body needs the fats, carbs, vitamins and proteins. But too much is too much.

For the latter: about half an hour of activity a day is enough to have a decent, healthy condition. I walk half an hour a day during the week and 1.5h a day during the weekend and without any real jogging/running training I can run for about an hour straight.

Awww shit how did I miss:

Jambo’s in the house!

Jambo’s always there to say the right thing at the right time. :stuck_out_tongue:

in other news, no matter how much I eat im always skinny as a stick figure, and smoking weed gives me extra stamina for some reason

what if you got beat up badly? do you easily get broken ? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t break easily, I jumped into my backyard pool head first from a trampoline but the pool was almost empty. Everyone said its impossible that I didn’t break my neck but I was able to just walk away.
