Come on, man. Are you even trying?
Iām actually learning Russian right now and that word, ŠŠ¾ŃŃŠ“аŃŃŃŠ²ŠµŠ½Š½Ńй, was the bane of my existence for a little bit. Itās not too hard to spell or say now but it was for a while.
Because that wouldnāt get my carās gas tank to the station? I wonder what the line is like nowā¦
Well, why not just walk or bike to wherever you need to go?
Uh, because that wouldnāt get his carās gas tank to the station? Seriouslyā¦
I hate to side with Pyro here, but couldnāt you have carried a petrol can over there, filled it up and brought it back?
Or was it too far to carry such a heavy object? I have no idea how much half a mile is.
I just bought an espresso machine with a milk steam-frother. I am the happiest man on earth.
Four furlongs.
So, what, the standard length of a Furling times four?
The problem there is that we donāt know how they look.
Unless we go on these little guys.
Thatās pretty much what I was wondering.
Also, whatās wrong with siding with me?
I donāt know, I wasnāt really being serious, just with the way everyone else was against you and all.
Itās probably just my terrible social skills. I tend to offend people without realizing it.
Youāre not offending anyone but your own intelligence.
I believe he was waiting in line for gas, so it wouldnāt have mattered if he had driven or walked, heād still have to wait in line.
He drives a 1987 Nissan Pulsar, which has a tank capacity of 13 US gal (49 L). He said he got 3/4 of a tank, so 9.75 gal (37.9 L) . Gasoline weighs 6.2 lbs/US gal. He would have had to carry two 5 US gal gas cans weighing 60.45 lbs (27.4 kg) total, 30 lbs (13.6 kg) in each hand, for half a mile (0.8 km). And thatās if he has two 5 gallon gas cans.
Totally makes sense that he should have left the car at home.
Oh, nice. We have an espresso machine that looks antique - kinda like this but with a few more parts to it:
but itās electric -fake antique - plugs into the wall. But it looks cool.
No one has worse social skills than me buddy. No one.
And I agree⦠I would have probly brought my bike to fill up the gas can simply so that I am not using gas to go get gas. But that is me. (I have a basket on the back of my bike)
But of course that is assuming the weather is good, it is during the day, and other cars dont run me over while I wait in line.
AND he probly would have preferred to listen to music in his car too.
:s hrug:
I think thatās illegal in Jersey
That was my second car. My current car is a 2010 Camaro Super Sport with a 19 gallon tank. I need the tank as close to full as I can get it so that I can drive to work on Monday (13.6 miles). I canāt get gasoline tomorrow because they are doing this thing with odd and even license plates getting gas on odd or even days, and I have odd numbers in my plates.
A half mile is about 8/10 of a kilometer.
