The Unofficial Official Chat Thread

My tongue hurts. I think I cut it open on the tootsie pop I was just eating.

Suddenly I find myself wearing a suit and dancing to Swedish punk at 2:25.

Sometimes I really don’t get me.

To be fair, I don’t get you either.

And we all know I’m the paragon of human perception.

OK - so the corrected math - 3/4 of a tank is 14.25 Us gal (54 L), so 88.35 lbs (40 kg), or three 5 US gal cans. And you didn’t want to carry that for half a mile after waiting in a 4 hour line? How do you live with yourself? Catz does that every time she needs to gas the car, in Colorado - so up a mountain
both ways
in the snow.

EDIT: Also, tomorrow is Sunday, day 1, which is odd, so maybe they’ve defined something differently? Or tomorrow is your day.

You’d probably have to wait in line anyway to get to the pump.

Tomorrow is November 4th, which is even, so I can’t go.

And we only have one 1 gallon gas can here at the house for filling the lawn mower. I wish I had a bigger gas can or two to walk over there, which would have been easier, but it just didn’t happen that way.

Ah, OK, the even or odd applies to the date, not the day of the week.

I wasn’t seriously suggesting that you should carry 90 lbs of gas for 1/2 mile. Marine and Army infantry carry that kind of weight for long distances, but they have it strapped to their backs.

Yup, and don’t even get me started if you’re a 240 gunner.

The station isn’t 1/2 mile away. The line was. The station is about 800 feet away. I can see it from my driveway. I wouldn’t mind walking it with a trip or two if I had a five gallon tank. But it only holds one

I don’t want to talk about that anymore.

I can finally go to work again for the first time in a week. First the office didn’t have power, and then I didn’t have gasoline, and now that both conditions are met, I am hoping that my boss has power so that I can get something done on Monday

Wait, shouldn’t you not want to work?

Have you ever had a job, Pyro? Or do you just get by on disability?

You are sometimes dense enough where I can make a point for the latter.

I’m not going to justify that with a response.

how often he posts here makes another point

I try not to visit these forums too often, but I just keep coming back here when I’m bored.

I need more things to do

Get a job.

I used to love my job, actually. So yeah, sometimes people do want to work.

I wish I had more hours in my job

I can barely afford the commute to my college much less food

I wish I had a job, it would be wonderful.

Well, at least if I got a job in my field, but in my current position I doubt I’d be able to get a job other than at fast-food chain or whatever.

Please tell me you were listening to Refused.

Wat, no, Ebba Grön. I’ve never even heard of these Refused.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
