Got this baby for £100 in the end. I have my current gpu and a Phenom II processor to sell, so if I get good prices on those I’ll be basically be breaking even :smiley:

Got this baby on the cheap too! To replace my 18-55 kit lens. The guy selling it said it had a stiff barrel and some dust inside the lens. And after some inspection, I’d say he greatly over exaggerated both of these. For my usage, the lens is just perfect. Because of these so called issues, I got it for the filthy cheap price of £35!

Think next time I’ll start another ‘pimp your’ thread or, a ‘look what I just bought’. This kinda thing doesn’t belong in ‘show off your everything’ I feel, despite the name. That’s an art thread now.

I took apart an old computer I had and found some pretty old sticks of RAM I was able to salvage. I know that DDR2 is pretty expensive nowadays, how much would 2 32mb sticks of PC100 SDRAM go for? If there are people that could even use them anymore.

DDR2 was expensive, but then last time I looked it had dropped in price again. SO I maxed out on DDR2, set until my next major overhaul xD

Me too, someone I know gave me 4GB of DDR2 RAM for free, so now I’m at 6GB. That’s plenty for the moment.

My PC is now at it’s absolute limit. With that graphics card, I’ll be on one of the best cpu and gpu the old girl can handle without a new mobo. Which means new ram too. literally, the only thing I can do is change my 2x2x2x2gb into 4x4x4x4gb. Which isn’t needed.

looking at old build videos is really starting to make some things about SoC make sense.

Most of the weapon models and textures for them in the final game seem to be the same ones from like, 2003.
