The AI in HL2 wasn’t much better, was it? They still did stupid things like dance around in the middle of the street while Striders and snipers instakilled them.

^This. The AI in HL1 was fine. I personally found it superior to HL2 AI, but that’s just my own experience. If they could slightly modify the Orange Box AI to make it smarter, that would be awesome. :smiley:

I agree. Why would they keep their weapons holstered when there are fucked-up monsters crawling all over the place? I reckon they should have their pistols holstered before the reasonance cascade but afterwards they have their weapons drawn by default.

Another thing I think would be good is if when security guards have their Glocks drawn they have different idle, walk and run animations where they point their weapons down.

Crypt, Ram changed his name to Rihannanator a while back and then changed it back.
