The Security Guards and Scientests

i said "contract terminated’’ just to give an example , IIRC when you failed in half life without dying it said something like “subject terminated” or similar … i’m guessing something down that line could be used …

Sorry, you defenitely can, once I went back down to the CPR guard, killed him and stole his pistol, then killed Eli and caused a paradox.

Well either way the door could be closed behind you in Black Mesa. A door that you need to open with a retinal scanner would most likely close anyway for security reasons, otherwise the scanner is a little pointless.

Ram already implied that the door will close and lock, you won’t be able to get back there.

Just like if you don’t take the offer at the end of the first game? :hmph:

The second game onward just assumes you followed the correct path to get there.

Well if you don’t take the offer you lose the game, just as if you died.

I didn’t consider it losing, but I guess that’s just me.

DARN YOU!

My personal theory is that HL2 happens no matter what you choose at the end of HL1. He puts you in stasis either way.

Well he gives you a battle you can’t win (hundreds of A-grunts if I remember correctly) so unless he saves you then puts you into stasis afterwards then you die.

:3

but he could win… god mode and impulse 101 ftw

no , he’ll just boomerang the shit out of everybody with his glasses …

In Half-Life Gordon Freeman sees Barney knocking on the Area 3 Security Facilities door. In Blue Shift you are Barney Calhoun trying to get inside. They have Changed the entrance to Area 3 Security Facilities. They could at least change the way Barney is trying to get inside. (Example: Knocking on A glass window to attract attention from BM employess. Scientist or security personel.) They really shuold try to ceep the appearances in the storyline correct.

This might be what you’re looking for.

Thank you!

No problem, mate. Next time let’s try to keep our text from being so… colorful, eh?

My idea: Instead of knocking with his hand like any boring old person would do, we should make him doing a hip thrust, knocking on the door with his pelvis.

YES.

I SUPPORT THIS SUGGESTION FULLY! /patriotic pelvic thrust

I agree also! This is needed in the mod :retard:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
