It is common practice here to use two alarm clocks.
The alarm I set to go off first plays this depressing song from CD several feet away. The following alarm is an obnoxious buzz right next to my head.
I have no choice but to respond to the first alarm else the second one will punish me.
I find myself sleeping so lightly that I tend to hear the CD start to spin.
I haven’t used an alarm in over two years. I wake up naturally up to an hour before I have to get up.

i’ve turned off a battery of alarms (seriously, like 5 on my phone, 1 radioclock, all placed so that i have to get out of bed to reach it), picked up the telephone, read texts, told people who try to wake me up that i’m awake, all while still asleep

I hate underground parking lots. Scratched the side of my car (near the rear) on a wall, when trying to take a right turn while some tit parked his car on the left side of the bend.
they should ban cars from the city and use the newly freed space for proper public transportation (not to mention there would be twice as many people willing to take a bike or let their children take a bike)

Working on a CS:GO map. Bots seem to really have trouble with ladders, even though I redesigned my fire escapes with brushes to make them easier to navigate. Argh.
I pumped absurd amounts of time into a CS;GO map and the bots never figured out how to open doors properly, not matter how hard I tried to fix it. Even studied nav meshes from Valve’s maps, couldn’t figure out what was different.
Guess it’s a good thing I haven’t added doors yet…
