I thought metro was definitely worth the 5 bucks I got it for. Game play was alright, but the story was interesting and well executed.
Also, I drunkenly bought a $6 L4D2 – as well as $41 dollars worth of dunkaroos from amazon – and it well worth it.
Shit is fun coop.
OH GOD YOU FOUND THAT GUN? LEMME SEE IT
or
OH GOD I FOUND A LEGENDARY
SUCK IT BITCHESSSSSSS
5 bucks each for Bioshock 1 and 2. Decided I’d give them a visit.
I picked up Bioshock 2 as loved the first, but second looked like it would have lost its soul! However, for £4.98, its fully worth the play through.
Also as I like Space game stuff, I picked up Sword of the Stars for £3.90, not sure what to make of it yet, but think I could get into it if I invest enough time into it
Bastion. Supposed to be a great game, but I’m tempted to wait for it to go cheaper.
Also, the latest Humble Bundle now contains The Binding of Isaac, which, judging from the way everyone raves about it, is worth buying the bundle just to get my hands on.

If you look around on ebay, you can find steam preorder codes for $30. I got one that price. People that get an nvidia card and don’t want the game sell them cheap.
Someone needs to answer this man, because I am also considering getting it.
I went ahead and bought Bastion on sale today. I think it is very much worth it. I bought the $12.50 soundtrack pack because I’ve heard many good things about the music. I am glad I did. The music is awesome, it sounds sort of like a blend of Age of Empires 2 and Rayman 2, so if you’ve played those games you have kind of an idea of what it’s like. Otherwise I’m sure you can look it up on youtube.
The narrator is hilarious too. He’s got this kind of southern rogue voice going on which he uses to commentate everything you do. I love it, it’s got just the right amount of humor mixed with useful directions. The gameplay is pretty fun too. I’ve only played on KB+M and it worked just fine, but many people suggest that a gamepad is better suited, so I might hook one up later to try it. It’s a dungeon-crawling hack-and-slash game, similar to Spiral Knights or Recettear. You get melee and ranged weapons and different weapons for each type so you can mix things up and try different combinations of weapons to see how they work. When you find materials you can use them to upgrade your weapons. You also get different special abilities to use in a pinch. So although you could probably go through the game just mashing one attack button the whole time, there’s also plenty of other ways you can play it.
All in all, I’d say go ahead and get it if you’re at all interested in it. It would be worth it at its regular price, so it’s a great deal at this price.
EDIT: So I plugged in my 360 controller to play the second time, and I think it probably is a little better. While KB+M allows you to have more precise control over aiming with ranged attacks, with a controller it auto-aims, so a lot of the challenge modes are, incidentally, less challenging. KB+M still works just fine though if you don’t have a controller to use.
Shattered Horizon is half price at the moment, I’ve just purchased Shattered Horizon for £3.49, I’ve got a spare guest pass for anybody that wants it?
Skyrim is 60 bucks.
IS IT WORTH IT?..
its a bit stupid really, Skyrim is more expensive here in Steam than in my local GAME shop o.O
Need you even to think of asking that question?
Buy game in local store.
Enter key into Steam.
Save money.
I assume it’s going to be Steamworks? The last few games Bethesda has published have been, haven’t they?
I was joking brother. If Skyrim was 70 bucks, i’d prolly still buy it day of release. bc it’s worth it.
Yeah I´ll defo be buying it in the store, I tend to do that when I buy full priced games aniway, if I´m going to shell out that kind of money, I want a physical copy : )
No idea if it´s steamworks though.
But thats exactly what I did when Empire Total War came out, bought it in store, got home, put code in steam, saved me 15€
GO FUCKING GET IT RIGHT NOW
I FUCKING DEMAND IT
YOU WILL PLAY THE FUCK OUT OF IT, SEE THE ENDINGS, GET ALL THE WEAPONS, GET ALL THE CHALLENGES.
Skyrim will have cost like 5 cents an hour around the time you’re done with it.
RAGE is currently on sale in steam for 48h (45 left at the time of writing) 33.49€ instead of 49.99 usual price.
I find the reason for the sale slightly humorous.
slightly is the key word there, bit unnerving too…
“oh we nearly all died there, so here´s 15€ off a game that also has asteroids in it”
