These are the very few games you should get. Maybe SR2 if you have a friend, and like glitchy and herpy derpy games. I did.

Metro 2033 in a nutshell:

Yeah, I never got into Metro, but can see why others could. Its got a great ambiance and interesting setting
And its Russian, and gamers love Russians.
You’re not the only one who thinks this. Back when it first came out my friends kept talking about it, so I pirated it to see what the fuss was about. I thought it was piss-boring. I was more fascinated by the flashlight than by anything else in the game.

Here are the obvious (to me) choices:
STALKER Call of Pripyat, because I hear nothing but good things about it (already have SoC).
Painkiller Pack, because I again hear great things about these games.
Here are ones I’m not 100% on:
Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. This one seems like it has a bit of a cult following, but if you’ve played it, how good of a game is it actually?
FEAR Pack: I have the original FEAR, but can’t activate it on Steam, so I wouldn’t mind buying another copy of it. How good are the expansions and FEAR 2?
Bioshock 2: I asked about this game once before, and decided against it at the time. If I liked Bioshock, but didn’t love it, how likely am I to like the sequel? I don’t want to buy it if it’s just more Bioshock.
Those are just the ones that I’m considering because they jumped out at me or I’d heard of them. Are there any others in the lineup that you’ve played and enjoyed?
Vampire is awesome as long as you download the latest community made patch, the game came out with tons of bugs and the company went bust so most never got fixed officially, the community made patch takes care of the whole thing ; ) It´s a must play.
Bioshock 2 is apparently quite different to the first one, havent played it yet.
Bioshock 2 is awful in almost every respect imo, not even worth the time it takes to download, much less however much it costs. It’s not even “just more BioShock”, it takes what made BioShock good, and somehow made it incredibly boring and repetitive.
If painkiller 1 is cheaper than the pack, buy that. 1 > all in painkiller series. I mean LOOK AT THE SCORES, IT TELLS SOMETHING
Everybody buy the Stalker pack. Now.

Borderlands gets dull and repetitive after a while, faster if you play it solo. I’d save my money.
Its a bit like SR in that sense, I quite enjoy it coop.
