It should have put this in the last post but I forgot about it . It’s supose to have new maps and multiplayer soon. Well if it’s not dead after all it’s only a Beta. I hope it isn’t because playing hl2=Half-Life 2 ( for thoes who are gonna complain) in rts form would be very interesting dont you guys think?
Yeah, but won’t BM need the OB engine? I thought I heard that it only needs HL2, but those graphics look like it might need more advanced editions of source.
the missing mod is a mod that showcases the two chapters that where removed from hl2 (one of them on the Boreas) since the leaked beta
The Orange Box version of the SDK Base is provided to people with any (Valve) Source Engine Game (well, the ones in this list). The reason that HL2Wars specifically requires Episode 2 is because it uses several resources from the game itself such as the Hunters, tree models, etc.

Not true. I’ve played plenty of mods that were shit and got released. Combine Destiny, Ravenholm, Perfect Stride Continuum, Mistake Of Pythagoras, Pilotable Strider Mod
and lets not forget “Awakening”.
Combine Destiny wasn’t that bad if it was shit they wouldnt be amkeing a sequal and lets not get started on Awakening that name gives me goosbumbs

They’re not a company. It’s not like if the game didn’t sell well no one would fund the second. And the game was even more bland and repetitious then Halo.
That’s not very difficult.
Ravenholm is not shit, and the sequel “Eye of the Storm” is very good.
The problem with Combine Destiny was that you spent 90% of the time fighting zombies, which you could do as Gordon Freeman, so being a Combine was pretty irrelevant. Plus the scenery was very dull.
Ravenholm was okay in parts, but very annoying and nonsensical in others. Eye of the Storm was indeed good, if rather too fast-paced.
