The Last Film You Saw.

I just saw “Cowboys & Aliens”. Decent flick (I think Rotten Tomatoes was too harsh on the film). They certainly broke some movie cliches in that movie (though I thought one of the ‘twists’* was just silly). Loved the treatment, Dolarhyde’s son got.

Gamer is pretty damn awesome. I rather loved that film- interesting plot, and camerawork that more than holds the mantle of Neveldine/Taylor. (Their cinematography is pure awesome in the “Crank” films)

Transformers… Well, I’ve probably gone into detail on how I happen to detest the film here a few times, so no use repeating myself.

I saw Arther, 5 out of 5 million dollars

favorite scenes

  1. the melting phone
  2. the birthing of the fullgrown man
  3. the clown with the rubber hammer

I didn’t mind the twist so much as the way they revealed it.

I just finished watching The IT Crowd.

Highly recommended.

So, I just saw Captain America. It was okay. The extreme “Go America!” patriotism in some scenes, while expected, grated on me after a while.

Also, whoever designed Cap’s suit should’ve been taken out to the woodshed and pistol-whipped within an inch of his life. Bright red, white and blue, shiny shield with the same bright colors…when you are trying to be stealthy in a forest.

I kept thinking of that Family Guy skit where Peter dresses up as a brightly-colored clown and says to the camouflaged army guys, “See, they’re going to be looking for army guys.”

Also, while Peggy Carter was a looker, that’s all she was in my opinion. She was very two-dimensional… My favorite character was Tommy Lee Jones’ Colonel Phillips. He had the best lines. And, c’mon, it’s Tommy Lee Jones!

If I had to give it a star rating, I’d give it 2.5/4 stars. I have now seen all the movies leading up to the Avengers movie. I thought Iron Man was best, followed by a tie between Hulk and Thor, then Captain America.

Thor was probably the worst out of that lot. It really didn’t go anywhere for me.

Capt. America had it’s moments, still it’s WWII theme more or less fell flat. I understand that’s where he comes from, but I found it to be a little wishy-washy.

Hulk was the worst IMO, but then, I’ve never really been into the Hulk. Iron Man is definitely the best. Thor and Captain America are both pretty good, so they’re tied in the middle for me.

I haven’t seen Cap yet (I wanted to go over the weekend, but the theater right by my house already doesn’t have it anymore…) but my order would be:

Iron Man -> Hulk -> Thor -> Iron Man 2

Watched The Road yesterday. Damn good movie in my opinion.

And I watched 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later back to back last night. Also damn good movies.

The Miracle Worker

Sucker Punch

Wasn’t what I expected at all. Hated the music.

Just saw gamer, actually a really good movie if you ask me.

Cars 2.

Was fun :stuck_out_tongue:

By really good movie you mean a steaming pile of shit, right?

X-Men: First Class. Surprisingly good (after the X-Men: Last Stand dissapointment and the mediocre Wolverine).
Wolverine’s cameo is a particular highlight.

I think the last film I saw might have been the Star Wars: Magic Edition AKA Harry Potter 7-2.

Because that’s essentially what it is. Pewpew lazors and lots of explosions everywhere. Not necessarily a bad thing though IMO. :3
